Welcome to The Artist's Studio, Issue 57 of Create! Magazine 📖

One of our greatest superpowers as creatives is getting lost in our work. Whether you experience a brilliant breakthrough or fight the urge to burn everything you ever made in a giant bonfire, there is no downside to spending more time in the studio.

At a time when the world seems focused on outsourcing work to computers, the art community is adapting by doing what it does best: heading to the studio and making magic.

For this edition, we wanted to explore the tactile act of making. We are thrilled to welcome Tanner Steslow and Max Berman of Square One Gallery as our guest curators. Built on transparency and fierce artist advocacy, they selected sixteen featured artists through a process deeply invested in long-term career growth.

Inside the new issue, you will find artists working across watercolor, clay, painting, and giant murals. Dive into our exclusive in-depth interviews featuring:

On the cover: @ofraohana

* @janetpulcho on monumental watercolor blossoms and the quiet life in Tuscany.
* @atarasenko on human nature and paintings that seduce first and implicate you second.
* @pichiavo on merging graffiti and classical art from Valencia to the world.
* @larryosseimensah on his debut ceramic exhibition and embracing a beginner's mind.
* @lizlidgett on collecting art practically and building a sustainable practice outside major cities.
* The Blue House on creating the kind of space you want to exist with no boundaries.
