We are looking for a new second guitar player! If you shred and you have been waiting to join an active recording/ touring band that plays regularly this is your chance! We are opening up auditions to anyone who may be interested. This is a really big deal for us and not a decision we intend to make lightly. If we're not already in close contact, drop a comment or shoot us an email with a video of you playing one of our songs (we have a full playthrough if you need). Here's what we're looking for:

1. Someone who is easy to work with and passionate about this music as much as we are.
2. Available to practice once a week in north Jersey or at least every other week depending on how far you are.
3. Be able to learn and do justice to Adam's parts before getting in a room with us. We obviously understand we are not going to get a one to one but we would like to remain somewhat consistent on how the songs are played. We are very focused on writing right now and don't have time to stop to relearn the record from the beginning.
4. Confident enough on guitar to write and contribute ideas for new material on the fly as we rehearse it.

BONUS POINTS: Being able to do vocals while playing guitar and having professional gear.

i wake up in the dark room and i feel a presence in my bed that knows me but i don't know it like it had been standing in my periphery my whole life until it followed me out of my dreams to become real and sit at the foot of my bed in the darkness but in spite of myself i am not Afraid

DREAMSTATE. One night's sleep away.

Tomorrow is the day I have been working towards. It is a great honor exhibiting these artists. Please come out to this unique and awesome event!

I first had this idea 2 years ago, waking up wondering where I was to realize I was home, in my room. That brief moment of strange newness was the state I wanted to capture. The moment when the familiar is bizarre, where memory is optional, when the dreams sneak their foot in crack in reality's door, where the hard edges of life dissolve into the fluidity of the psyche but retain the appearance of the world so the thoughts that lay dormant are allowed to express themselves to our newer selves, that is DREAMSTATE.

Alisha McCurdy Holzman's work transforms the room its in through a unique blend of material, using fiber not just to unite narratives, but to force the view to renegotiate how they interact with those materials in a combination of two dimensional imagery with three dimensional installation. Christian Peslak's drawings engages the viewer by confusing them at first, but then leads them through a journey of multiple images organized by masterful use of values, inverting lights and darks as well as expectations on psychology, American identity and gender.

Jillian Keats is a multi media artist who's exploration of material is grounded in the ritualistic process her installations are made. Brutal and emotional, the tableaus she creates interrogate chronic pain and mortality in a quiet voice of sympathy and understanding.

Keats debuts her new installation "Bedrest/Bedrot" at DREAMSTATE in just one week. Come to Center Stage Gallery, 108 Bloomfield Ave, August 1st 6-11pm to be one of the first to see it!

hope is forgotten because its so small so the the little things likes leaves and stones and scraps of paper can cover it up but dreams are the gentle breeze that overturns those things in the stagnant places of our mind so we can be reminded by the hope thats there

DREAMSTATE

Kevin Durkins compositional precision is due to the artists emotional clarity. Clean and raw, his handmade wooden surfaces are illustrated with a unique visual language and symbolism that feels limitless in its simplicity, and alien in its familiarity, like de ja vu.

Kevin is just one of 12 artist exhibiting at DREAMSTATE at Center Stage Gallery, 108 Bloomfiled Ave, Montclair NJ

Juno Zago's rigorous studio practice leads to playful results. Obsessive but spontaneous, inventive but historical, Zago's multi media works are on the cutting edge of decorative while calling into question our relationship with the everyday material we are surrounded by, from colorful scraps of paper to the flattened soda can.

I am very excited to be exhibiting three pieces by Juno Zago at DREAMSTATE. Stop by our opening on Saturday August 1st from 6-11pm to see these 12 artists!
