I’ve been on the run the last few days… staying in hotels has the potential to really throw me off my game. But I love that I can easily pack these training straps and be creative, even with space as a limitation.

This is a pretty normal session for me with the Isophit straps- purely exploration. :10-:30 holds depending on the movement, figuring out what works and what doesn’t.

LOOSER CLOTHING

Day 24 of 60.

Clothes are getting looser. I’m talking a lot of protein (roughly 170g/day), so I’m pretty confident the changes are due to fat mass loss and not too much muscle.

Joints are feeling solid. Need to better manage the schedule to prevent late night workouts. The facility starts EARLY in the morning. Late nights and early mornings don’t mix well.

Liking the trend 📉 of the body composition. Next Friday will be scan day (May 1st).

Small actions done consistently make for big impacts later. 💪🏽

Have Tight Traps?

Took this blast from the past and repurposed it. If you upper shoulders, back are feeling tight, you may notice a slump of your shoulders going forward. That is a sign of the trapezius muscle or “traps” being weakened.

GO BIG RED!

Was a little more sore than anticipated this morning. Wanted to work the back out first so opted for Program 5 and Big Red, aka, the ISOPHIT strength trainer (bigger model).

One of the things you need to look for when you plan your training is your intensity. If you were going to train every day, which it is OK to do, you need to dial down the intensity. To ignore that, is to invite injury. This was no joke, this is a plan to work out every day for 60 days straight primarily through isometric exercise.

My Own REBUILD

The business has taken away my business (health) for too long. It stopped today. I’m doing 30inThirty for 60 straight days and retooling my lifestyle. When the mind is fully focused, you’ll be amazed at the results.

Aquí te van tres sentadillas isométricas que parecen iguales… pero generan adaptaciones neuromusculares completamente diferentes.

La sentadilla contra la pared elimina gran parte de la demanda de estabilidad, por lo que el ejercicio se vuelve dominante de rodilla y trabaja principalmente la resistencia del cuádriceps.

Cuando quitas la pared, el cuerpo ahora tiene que estabilizar cadera, rodilla, tobillo y tronco, lo que aumenta la demanda de control motor y estabilidad articular.

Pero cuando empujas contra una barra fija, como en ISOPHIT, realizas una isometría de superación.

Aquí el sistema nervioso intenta producir fuerza máxima sin movimiento, aumentando el reclutamiento de unidades motoras.

Por eso no todas las sentadillas isométricas producen la misma adaptación.

Muchas veces el problema no es falta de fuerza…
es falta de activación neuromuscular correcta. 💪🧠
