⏰🇸🇪 Kwa nini muda unarudishwa nyuma Sweden?

Kila mwaka, Jumapili ya mwisho ya mwezi Oktoba, Sweden na nchi nyingi za Ulaya hurudisha saa nyuma kwa saa moja. Hii ndiyo inaitwa Winter Time (Vintertid).

Usiku wa kuamkia jumapili, saa 03:00 itakuwa saa 02:00. Maana yake tunapata saa moja ya ziada ya kulala! 😴

Lengo la mabadiliko haya ni kurekebisha muda kulingana na misimu na mwanga wa jua wakati wa majira ya baridi.

🇸🇪 Kwa hiyo, kuanzia leo, tofauti ya muda kati ya Sweden na Tanzania inakuwa saa 2 badala ya saa 1.

The 11th National Agroforestry Symposium in Musoma brought together young people, farmers, policymakers and investors to explore opportunities for:

🌿 Green enterprises and youth employment
💡 Investment across agroforestry value chains
🌳 Climate resilience and food security
🤝🏾 Partnerships for sustainable land use

Sweden was pleased to contribute to discussions on advancing agroforestry, expanding opportunities for young people and promoting green investment.

From 19–21 October 2026, Kiwamwaku Foundation participated in the 11th National Agroforestry Symposium in Bweri, Musoma, under the theme “Agroforestry for Youth and Green Investment.”

Our Lead Project Officer presented experiences from the Mwanga Forest Garden Project, sharing practical lessons on how Forest Gardens contribute to food security, healthier nutrition, climate resilience, and landscape restoration.

The symposium provided opportunities to exchange knowledge and build connections with stakeholders to strengthen agroforestry practices and support resilient farmer livelihoods.

We welcome farmers, researchers, development partners, and other stakeholders to visit our Forest Garden Project in Mwanga District and learn from real field experiences.

We thank Vi Agroforestry and all participating stakeholders for creating this valuable platform for learning and networking.
