🇺🇸 Sütlaç (Turkish Rice Pudding). Sütlaç in a Pumpkin.
Ingredients:
Pumpkin
Honey
Rice
Water
Milk
Sugar
Butter

Preparation:
Clean the seeds out of the pumpkin. Add 2 tablespoons of honey, then replace the "lid" (the top piece you cut off). Wrap the pumpkin in parchment paper and aluminum foil, place it in the oven, and bake over low heat until the pumpkin becomes soft. While the pumpkin is softening, prepare the Sütlaç. Boil the rice in water until cooked. Add the milk; once it comes to a boil, reduce the heat and add the sugar. Simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in the butter and turn off the heat.
Fill the softened pumpkin with the Sütlaç and place it back in the oven for 15–20 minutes. The dessert is ready—be sure to give it a try!
I would like to thank @sweejar_official for the ovenware I used to prepare this dish.
