Thank you @marnimann and @valentine_pr_ for this gifted ebook and audiobook. ~ Mere

Oh my heart! This last read in the Weston Group was emotional and had such a rewarding HEA. If two characters deserved an HEA, it was Troy (finally) and Eden. The Forbidden One tackles some major trigger warnings, but treats them with immense care. I appreciated that these hard topics were intrinsic to both MMCs’ journey to their HEA, and not there simply for a shocking backstory. Marni wrote her characters as strong, even while they were breaking apart and sinking to their knees with the pain of what they endured. This story pulls at your heart strings and leaves you desperate for their HEA. Troy and Eden’s story was as much a surprise as it was an emotional journey. This billionaire, tortured heroine, secret longing, workplace, SUPER angsty romance will catch you off guard and make you believe in epic love stories.

I couldn’t put this book down and thankfully I was able to both read and listen and soak up this beautiful love story. Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais were fantastic together in dual narration taking readers on a journey to Eden and Troy’s epic HEA. This read was a bit of a departure from the heat of the previous books in the series, but I have to say it was also my favorite. Having hinted at things in Eden’s past, I was still unprepared for where Marni took her story and the emotional rollercoaster it evoked. I enjoyed every word from start to finish and the ending was so deeply satisfying, I immediately needed to put these words together. I often find that hard-earned HEAs leave me most satisfied, and this story has one of the happiest of endings. And with the hints of what is to come for Marni’s billionaires, I’m even more excited to see what she has next in store for us readers.

I’ve been desperate to finish this trilogy and find out how Holden and Rowan get their HEA. The Tangled Hearts series is filled with corporate espionage, family secrets, passion, and betrayal – I ate every bit of it up and was desperate for more. Having to wait to get my hands on this conclusion was sweet torture and it did not disappoint one bit. I’ve adored Rowan from the first moment she appeared on page. Her backbone, strength, and tenacity made her easy to admire. Holden I quickly grew to love as I discovered his hidden layers and motivations. I desperately wanted them both to find their HEA, and also for Holden to achieve his revenge for the wrongs of the past. Twined Fates delivers all of this brilliantly and kept me glued to the page as soon as I started reading. The complex web behind this story was fascinating to read, and their chemistry and passion made me fall in love too. I couldn’t get enough of this billionaire, workplace, enemies to lovers romance.

It was so hard trying to see how Rowan and Holden could both get what they want with Tin Spirits and still have their HEA together, but K. Bromberg had a plan all along and it all came together beautifully. The ending was worth the wait and so very satisfying. I adored how both characters got to have their moments to shine, finally trusted one another to show their “hands”, and had some amazingly sweet and tender moments away from prying eyes. This page turning story was sweet romance with heat, a complex plot filled with family secrets and betrayals, truly terrible villains, and two strong characters who found a middle ground in the morally gray. I loved every page of this read and couldn’t get enough.

Forbidden love, a thread of danger, and a threat no one saw coming! Carved in the Shadows was a page turning romance. When Elena finally convinces her brother to let her spread her wings and move out of their house on club property, he has one condition. She has to take Trevan with her, her brother’s best friend that she has always loved who absolutely can’t touch her. She is too sweet and kind, and Trevan is determined not to tarnish her with his darkness. But spending every hour of the day together breathes life into the spark between them, turning into a passion neither can deny. When danger keeps finding Elena, Trevan puts himself in front of her again and again. The only problem? There’s no one to protect him from the love that simmers between them in this brother’s best friend, age gap, small town, MC romance.

I couldn’t put this book down, and thankfully had both the audio and ebook so I could read all day long. Austin Stone and Andi Arndt were fantastic as Trevan and Elena. Their performances held all the tension of the story, the edge of their forbidden love, and the pain of their pasts. It was so easy to see how they should be together, but finding their HEA seemed impossible with the secrets from their shared past, the danger of her brother finding out, and the outside threat aimed at hurting Elena. This story is a sweet love story where Elena spreads her wings that also has some slow burn heat and a simmering suspense that twists and turns with surprises more than once. I absolutely devoured this story and can’t wait to see what’s next for the Crimson Crows MC.

While this isn’t the last book in the series, we finally uncover the mystery of the Lady of the Dunes and I loved how this spooky reveal played into the primary romance plot as well. Layered with humor and ghostly messages from the beyond, In Full Bloom brings Kit and Brody together finally. Kit notices her brother Hayes is lonely so she sets him up in secret for a dating app. When her poorly executed dating plot is almost found out, his best friend covers for her and gets enlisted into the plot. Fake dating Brody should be easy to fake, but things start to feel all too real as days pass. When lines are crossed and secrets are revealed, it turns out that the only ones who thought it was fake are Kit and Brody in this brother’s best friend, fake dating, small town romance.

In audio, Stephen Dexter and CJ Bloom are fantastic together performing in duet narration. CJ captured Kit’s sarcasm and humor perfectly and Stephen leaned into Brody’s dryness just right. Their performance enhanced the humor, mystery, shenanigans, and unexpected deep feels of the third act breakup and the plot twist of the ending. I know people hate a third act breakup, but Kit and Brody needed to go through it to find honesty and get their HEA. I enjoyed this story from start to finish. I was compelled by the mystery, charmed by their romance, fanned my face a time or two, and was completely sold right from the start that these two needed to be together. This was such a great addition to a really enjoyable series that should be on everyone’s TBR.

Oh I do love an enemies to friends to lovers romance especially when the main characters realize they had it all wrong about the other person. I have no idea why, but I find it deeply satisfying and The Last Goodbye checked all those boxes for me. Briar Sinclair started out as the bane of Bass’s existence until she became the person who fought hardest for him when the very company she worked for threatened his business. I devoured this audiobook. They had instant, believable chemistry that slowly built into a fling and then into forever. I adored their love story from start to finish complete with family drama and found family, small town chaos. This enemies to lovers, workplace, grumpy x sunshine, small town romance will charm you and steams things up.

I absolutely couldn’t stop listening to this audiobook. Jason Clarke and Desiree Ketchum were perfect for Briar and Bass and in duet narration, their performance was an even more enjoyable treat. I was completely captivated by their dynamic and sold on their HEA from the start. I adored how they thought they had nothing in common and realized they were more alike than they could have imagined. I loved how Briar realized that family doesn’t have to be the family you share blood with and Bass finally let some of his walls down. This story has so much heart, humor, story, drama, and steam. It sucked me right in and I happily soaked up all the goodness. This was another fantastic read from Laura Pavlov and I’m super pumped to see what’s next for the series.

I was so excited to get my hands on Face Off with Fate. I absolutely adored Graciella’s chaos in High Sticking the Heart and was so happy she was getting her own story. And the book opens as it only could for her, in a half thought out plan that is definitely what she should not be doing. When her life subsequently implodes, she does what she always does and picks up the pieces which through a series of events and a touch of happenstance, puts her in the path of single dad, head-coach Josh Monroe. He needs an image overhaul and she desperately needs a job. Graciela crashing into his life is the last thing Josh wanted, but it’s of course exactly what he needed in this single dad, opposites attract, fake dating (but not with her), sports romance where there’s only one bed at one point, that will steal your heart and have you smiling and swooning from start to finish.

In audio, this was such a fun and positively swoony listen. Lorna Vex and Liam Cortwright are amazing as Graciela and Josh, with all the exasperation the moments needed and perfectly executed banter, even in dual narration. I couldn’t stop listening as their HEA unfolded and untangled its way to the end. This story made me giggle, swoon, and also want to hug them both several times. I kept waiting for things to come together and the ending was so deeply satisfying by the time it finally came around. Things were complicated in the best of ways and their chemistry was fire. This is a series I really hope continues because it’s just so much fun.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this read and it did not disappoint. Never Been Tamed was just as much fun as West of Forever. Harper is in a rut, passing the days working at the ranch and managing her aging father. When Ares comes to town to spend time with his grandmother after his life implodes in Chicago, their paths cross and sparks fly. I knew things were going to be interesting as soon as Harper kissed Ares in front of her ex-best friend who is now engaged to her cheating ex-fiance. These two couldn’t have been more different but I adored them together. Ares was a fish out of water in town, but for Harper he simply made sense in this small town, CowGirl, opposites attract, fake dating romance.

In audio, Jason Clarke and Desirée Ketchum were perfect for Ares and Harper and gave wonderful performances in duet narration. Jason was great as well for Clyde Stone, Harper’s dad. I absolutely couldn’t stop listening to this audiobook.

This is a very swoony (and steamy) read. Ares was the sweetest, helping Harper realize her worth and showing her how beautiful she is inside and out. I adored how Harper always picked herself back up no matter what life threw her way. She’s strong and I adored how she helped Ares see that he wasn’t really living in Chicago. Together, they were so perfect. This read will also make you smile, laugh, and it will charm you as the Stone children survive their father’s shenanigans and the meddling town. I can’t wait to see what’s in store next for this series.

Louise Bay once again reminds us why she is the queen of billionaire romances. We return to New York and Hotel on Ninth Street, and this time Avril is finding her HEA. She loves working with her brother and sister, but is desperate to pave her own way and show her older siblings that she is successful in her own right. With plans to open a hotel in Boston, the site they selected has proven difficult to secure with the seller ghosting the sisters. When their brother suggests Ben East is the solution to the problem, Avril comes face to face with the man she spent a steamy night with. Unwilling to mix business and personal, it takes an unorthodox proposal to get him to agree to help. Living as flatmates determined to not fall for each other proves difficult in this flatmates to lovers, one night stand romance that will charm you too while Ben wooes Avril.

I always enjoy Louise’s romances even more in audio and Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor together in dual narration is always a treat. They were perfect for Ben and Avril and brought their immense talents to the drama and romance of this story. I adored how both had walls and personal reasons to avoid falling in love, but they were too perfect for one another to not find their HEA. This story starts out steamy, then becomes charming as they each show the other that maybe their lives were missing something before they each met the other. I also loved how they negotiated small miscommunications that made them only fall more in love with the other. This easy listen was sweet, steamy, and everything I love about Louise’s billionaire romances.

Thank you @brighton_walsh for this gifted advanced read and listen. ~ Meredith

To begin, The One-Night Secret is my favorite read of the series, which is saying something because the first book of the series was my favorite until this moment (Laurel IYKYK). Grumpy single mom meets grumpy Steele half-brother and what happens after an explosive one-night-stand will make you smile and positively swoon. Maverick is the man Rowan didn’t know she needed in her life and her family is the thing Maverick never knew he was missing. They slowly become more to one another without even realizing it and it’s so sweet under all the snark and banter that passes for talking between them. I positively ate their love story up and adored how Rowan’s three sons were wrapped up in the chaos and drama. This single mom, roommates to lovers, one night stand, ex-con, small town romance was the icing on a very yummy cake of a series. This is a series I’ll be recommending to others for a while.

In audio, James Cassidy and Rose Dioro were absolutely amazing together in duet audio. They both captured their characters perfectly and James was amazing giving the 3 boys their own personalities. I laughed in surprise when he managed to be even gruffer for Altas (Aka Daddy Grump) than he was for Maverick. I heard their voices in my head when I was reading and couldn’t put this book down. I’m so thankful I had the audio and ebook because this story consumed me. I adored how their love story slowly slipped into an HEA neither were expecting but decided they couldn’t live without. Their chemistry was hot; their dynamic was filled with banter, stubbornness, and kindness; and their story was the good kind of non-stop chaos you’d expect with three teen boys pushing two adults together that couldn’t figure it out on their own. I adored this story more than I can express and though I rarely re-read, for these two, I probably will.
