Glitter makeovers at Swiet Stuff is the thing to do!!! Owner is amazing and we loved her female-made products that give back to community in Guatemala. Fully sparkled, we managed to snag a balcony spot on Bourbon for the parade. Met an Austinite and moseyed through the crowd, lube falling from the skies, lol (pride parade). Verti Marte was the perfect stop to grab a sandwich and break before dancing on Frenchman. Something called me to the courtyard. The woman I met needed some inspiration that night- I shared my love, light and glitter… We are all in this Human Experience. Be kind to your neighbor and traveler alike.

There’s no substitute for getting out, exploring, and experiencing a destination through fresh eyes.

Our latest Team Discovery Day was all about uncovering new inspiration, building stronger local partnerships, and rediscovering some of New Orleans’ most incredible hidden (and underrated) gems.

📍 Rizzuto & Company Float Builders – Their passion for Mardi Gras is absolutely contagious, but what truly impressed us were the endless custom fabrication possibilities that can bring any creative vision to life.

📍 The Lakehouse – Breathtaking. Peaceful. Elegant. “Stunning” simply doesn’t do this venue justice. A reminder that one of New Orleans’ most beautiful event settings is not in the French Quarter.w

📍Felix’s Restaurant at the Lakefront – Known for legendary seafood, but trust us… don’t sleep on the roast beef po’boy. It was the surprise favorite of the day!

📍 Two Sisters on Bourbon – While connected to The Court of Two Sisters, this charming venue has a personality all its own. Intimate, inviting, and yes… the soft-serve margarita is absolutely worth the stop.

📍 The Swiet Shop – A creative, sustainable space celebrating women and the queer community through inspiring workshops, artistry, and meaningful experiences. The possibilities here sparked so many ideas.

📍 Charles & Julia – Warm, inviting, and effortlessly stylish, this lounge is the perfect setting to gather over a thoughtfully crafted cocktail menu. Looking for a little more spirited vibe? Head upstairs to the rooftop terrace, where the atmosphere shifts into an open air oasis.

And a huge thank you to Signature New Orleans for providing an impeccably smooth Sprinter experience that kept us comfortable and connected throughout the day.

The best event ideas don’t always happen in the office—they happen when we explore, ask questions, and see what’s possible.

Spent a few days in New Orleans for my host agency’s (Carlisle Travel) annual trade show conference/FAM.. I kid you not when I say that New Orleans was never on my list, and now it’s in my top 3 favorite domestic cities.

It’s full of rich history, resilient + genuine people, and wholesome moments 💛 I found some GEMS for my worldly closet collection!

We met with amazing travel partners, toured hotels, and celebrated at gala night.

What you don’t see: a 10-hour stomach bug, missing my flight home, and having to extend my trip another day. 😂

Watch to the end to see Travel Gods final act of humbleness (God? Mother Nature in luteal?)

I cannot wait to go BACK 🔥💛!!

Kale yeah! Doesn't get any fresher than this. Fun Sunday outing to check out all the creative endeavors at the Hook and Peterson homestead. Pops is intrigued with hoop house options, stay tuned!

Feeling patriotic and hopeful on a bright and breezy summer day. Painting on the porch and reflecting on how the next generations are stepping up.
