A few highlights from our recent three-day production with SWISCo 🎬

Spending time with the team and seeing their work first-hand gave us a real appreciation for the impact they have across Torbay every day.

It was a pleasure to capture the people, services and stories that make such a difference to the local community.

You won't believe this! Guess how many cans Mr D. fished out of the bushes yesterday...

I'm not sure I'll ever look at a fizzy drink can again. I definitely won't be drinking Fanta. The 300 cans we cleared away yesterday were only one of five collections we found on our new plot.

And they weren't the worst of the rubbish. Buried carpet, barbed wire, ancient bedsteads, a car battery, whole metal windows...

I could go on.

It has taken nearly two months to dig it all out but today, thanks to the amazing team from SWISCo it has all gone from our site.

I will confess to having a little cry as the trucks (yep, it took two) drove away.

Now it's just me, the birds and my newly germinated field beans. And it's time to start planning my planting.
