Duo Minten & González presents their new album, Ruins of a non-existent place, at Mixtur.

How does a place change when it exists only in memory? Rebecca Minten and Luz González explore this idea through bass clarinet and live electronics. A sonic journey through spaces that feel familiar yet reveal new facets each time we return to them.

Their performance is part of a triple bill with Pedro Pablo Cámara and Carolina Santiago, taking audiences through Fabra i Coats. Along the way, music meets image, gesture, technology and the architecture of the former factory.

Artist Spotlight: Collegium Novum Zürich @cnz.ch + Steamboat Switzerland

Get ready for a late-night collision of new music, improvisation and rock-infused energy as Swiss ensemble Collegium Novum Zürich join forces with the legendary Steamboat Switzerland.

Across three UK premieres, the programme travels through wildly different sonic territory. Zara Ali’s ‘Isolation Forest’ dives into the digital wilderness, inspired by a machine-learning algorithm used to detect anomalies.

Commissioned by hcmf//, Anselm McDonnell’s @anselmmcdonnell ‘Retrogressive Thaw Slump’ takes its name from the sudden collapse of Arctic permafrost, translating this dramatic natural phenomenon into music of intensity and virtuosity.

Michael Wertmüller’s ‘The Exaggeration für Ensemble und Trio’ brings precision, rhythmic force and electrifying large-scale ensemble writing, before Steamboat Switzerland - renowned for ferocious performances, improvisation and unpredictable energy - take over for a 30-minute trio set.

Two of Switzerland’s most adventurous musical forces. Three premieres. One seriously intense late-night experience.

A new work is taking shape.
Here’s a little glimpse into the process.

«Today Is My Everything»

How much life is left when work becomes everything?

A performance about our ambivalent relationship to time, work and identity. A piece about alienation, the longing for genuine human connection and the pursuit of the “perfect self”.
A cycle of effort, failure and constant recovery, with the risk of eventually burning out.

It all started during a residency in Manchester @homemcr supported by @swissperformingarts …

…the work has been selected for PREMIO 2026 (— more to come) @premioschweiz.ch

and…

… a short version will be performed at
Les Quarts de Heure 2026
Théâtre Sévelin 36, Lausanne

Salon d’artistes is a format developed to strengthen the visibility and distribution of new works from Switzerland’s contemporary performing arts scene and to foster exchange between artists and performing arts professionals.

Through short presentations, selected artists introduce their artistic practice as well as current and upcoming projects to programmers and other professionals from Switzerland and abroad. The format provides a space for artistic work to be contextualised, discussed and connected with potential future partners. By creating opportunities for direct exchange, Salon d’artistes supports professional networking, facilitates access to new contexts and contributes to strengthening longer-term relationships within the performing arts sector.

This year, the format took place in the context of Zürcher Theater Spektakel and La Bâtie–Festival de Genève, bringing together artists and professionals from different linguistic regions and international networks.

The two editions were organised by Pro Helvetia in collaboration with @theaterspektakel and @labatie. Salon d’artistes forms part of our efforts to support national and international exchange, mobility and visibility within the Swiss performing arts scene.
