Today I was honored to present a proclamation on behalf of our @harriscojudge Office celebrating the recent announcement by Pope Leo XIV announcing Father Milad T. Yaghi will become the next Bishop of the Maronite Eparchy of Our Lady of the Martyrs of Lebanon in Mexico.

2016 marked my first visit to the church with then Mayor @sylvesterturner. We were welcomed with open arms by the congregation and by Father Milad. Since then I’ve been back for many celebrations and in times of sorrow when I visited to remember the life of @lebanon.times Nabil Salim El-Habbaki, and every time I’ve seen how much this community matters.

For more than 30 years, Father Milad has led Our Lady of the Cedars with love, hope and faith, and he built one of the strongest Maronite communities in the country right here in Houston.

It was such a joy to celebrate this special announcement with the congregation and to see the joy and happy tears this congregation has for him. Thank you Rita Joubran for helping to make the connection happen.

It was a little difficult today to find the words necessary to mark what would have been his 72nd birthday.

But, I was uplifted and reminded of God’s grace and mercy by two sermons today. First message was “You have what it takes” and the second “Something New”.

Though what has comforted me the most is a prayer that @pasralphwest shares at the end of each @tcwwhouston service and at which was mentioned at today’s @brentwood_baptist service which is “The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift the light of His countenance upon you and grant you His peace. May the Lord bless you: when you go out and come in, when you rise up early and settle late. In your labor and your leisure. In your laughter and in your tears until that day when we stand before the feet of Jesus where there is no sunrise or sunset. Be encouraged.”

This message has continued to anchor me over the last couple of years and will remain the strength we need to continue carrying the mission God has set for us and which we will carry to keep his legacy alive.

Happy heavenly Birthday @sylvesterturner!

We continue to march on fighting, advocating, and solving the challenges we all face daily.

Happy heavenly birthday, Daddy!!!! Your presence has turned into my guiding light, and the laughs we shared will last lifetimes. Enjoy the best party ever by dancing with the angels at the feet of Jesus.

This is how bad it got.
My security cameras were hacked, they were put on a loop… so I could not see who was coming in or out of the condo. YOU CLEARLY SEE MOTION BEING DETECTED AND NO PERSON. The beginning of the videos shows me on camera being detected, theses were all times I was not home 🗣️

I was FORCED to relinquish my gun bc of my fear. I would not known how to deal had it been stolen and used maliciously @nra (I see a P226 in my future 🤩)
I was being terrorized. I needed my gun for my protection, but bc I couldn’t confirm if someone was in my home (i.e. actually caught them in it) I knew it was safer to sell it. @traviscosheriff was not as helpful as I would’ve hoped. Nor was @austin_police. It was not until A man approximately 5’8-6ft 180/200lbs was served in my condo in April 07 of 2025 that we quasi proved breaking and entering due to corporate retaliation. @bmw @bmwusa and I have had a VERY LONG RELATIONSHIP (since 2008) this might change it 😭
JP2 ruled against me with no desire to assist in understanding who was in my studio… all i was told was subpoena the process server. Meanwhile i was trying to fight BioTeknica & @abbottglobal #prose for my bid on the ballot for #district18 @houstonchron
It gets Worse… this is all after i had the police search my home for unwanted surveilance cameras bc I felt like i was being watched. @fbihouston @fbimiamidivision @fbijobs and obviously they are still actively engaging in #corporate #espionage with their shared drive attached to all my machines. They REFUSE TO PAY MY DAMAGES when I filed, so my business has prepared a $305million dollar suit. I was born on 03/05. I was born in the 305. I was discriminated against and have legislation for the 305 disability form… and unfortunately @sylvesterturner former rep for Dist 18 died on 03/05.

I am working on new suits from my business. I sent the 1st round to wicelaw
This has cost me 4 years of my life. I am not sure if I can get back into medical school @nuhsedu
2 houses
My service dog
My sanity
My daddy won’t talk to me bc of how they maligned me

“ @sylvesterturner saw past labels, looking to the person, the problem and the possibility. “We need to bring everyone together across our city and the industry to drive the energy future for Houston,” he said. With those words, he planted the seed of what would become Houston Energy & Climate Week.”- @katiemehnert

Please join me in wishing a #happybirthday to my sister Erica. I appreciate all she does for me and our family. She has continued to grow as a person and as a license massage therapist.

Should you need a massage, please consider reaching out to her. Happy Birthday Erica! 🎉🎉🎉

On numerous locations, we were fortunate enough to be in the presence of @houstontexans Mrs. McNair. Then Mayor @sylvesterturner and the family were able to build a great friendship. Her smile and laughter were always a bright light.

In 2020, the McNair family invited him to participate in their Conversations for Change recording and he was able to speak of his upbringing and what it means to navigate the world we live in.

You can find the video on the Texans YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/sGVg53XXCu4?is=mBUf5QjZIA4iYVE7

Pics featured are many I have taken over the years from various games we attended and from that taping.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and the Texans organization at this time.

Yesterday, former President @georgewbush celebrated his 80th birthday.

In 2018, just before speaking at a luncheon, the late Mayor/Congressman @sylvesterturner and the former President were able to reconnect and relive some of the fun times they had in the Texas Legislature.

These are some of my favorite pics of the two.
