Introducing SYSO @syso_gh Sampson Yaw Somoah Ofori, a Ghanaian fashion designer joining this year’s WA-BA-SO Design Fellowship.

Inspired by the transformation of leftover African wax prints in his father’s sewing shop, he continues to explore upcycling, organic materials, and sustainable design.

Through his work, SYSO is rethinking how fashion can be created with less waste and a more conscious approach to style.

Denim, reimagined.

Syso @syso_gh is rewriting the rules of denim. Crafting asymmetrical patterns and layering different shades into comfortable, statement jackets and pants that move with you.

Most of their jackets are fully reversible, two distinct looks, one masterful piece. What sets them apart is the detail: thoughtful touches of Kente, embossed Adinkra symbols etched into denim, speaking to a deep commitment to cultural heritage.

Contemporary, conscious, and rooted.

Discover Syso live on Sunday 13th September at Concrete Garden, Adabraka.
