When I had my last fight in April of 2025, I wasn’t sure what my future in Muay Thai would be. Would that be my last fight? Would I be able to find a Muay Thai community back in the states? Leaving Thailand was hard, but luckily I found @sytboston and @markdellagrotte and they took me in. And I got to fight again! Thank you @kruchocolatebuddha for training me every week in preparation. And to @muay_thai_the_barbary_lion and @rachellovesfighting for having confidence in me the whole time! @carolvlyn

The following pics are a special thanks to just a small percent of people who came out to support. Whether you were there or streamed it, your support meant the world to me. Grateful is an understatement. Also thank you so much to my opponent for being so down for this.

Coach on Monday. Student on Tuesday. 🥊

There's no weekend in the woods with a mystical master that makes you a fighter or coach. Only rounds, reps, and showing up time after time.

I still hold pads, and I still hit them. I'm 55 years old and the learning never stops!

Want to start your own reps? Intro class link in bio. 👆

Back at Sityodtong Camp in Pattaya! Two years since my first trip here. I'm grateful for this opportunity! For me, travel is about discovering more about myself by discovering the world around me, but this trip to Thailand has much deeper personal meaning. 🇹🇭❤️🙏

A little history:

In 1960, the legendary Grandmaster Kru Yodtong founded the original Sityodtong Camp in Pattaya, Thailand. Kru Yodtong became a modern icon of the sport, personally producing 57 World Champions—the most in Muay Thai history! His son, Kru Toy, now runs the famous camp.

In the 1990s, an American martial artist named Mark DellaGrotte traveled to Thailand, and trained directly under Kru Yodtong in Pattaya. Mark was given his official blessing to bring the authentic art back to the United States.

I came to Sityodtong Boston in 2009. I fought for 11 years in Muay Thai, MMA, and BJJ under Kru Mark DellaGrotte, Now, I teach and coach fighters there. It's an honor to make this second trip to the Thailand camp. I hope there will be many more trips here in the years to come!

Saturday night at No Boundary was one to remember!🥊

We had 4 fighters on the card, and this video shows every one of them, plus the coaches who got them there.

This team was so easy to work with. The fighters showed up prepared, listened, and trusted the process. The coaches were organized, calm under pressure, and always on the same page. When everyone knows their role, fight night runs smoothly and the fighters can focus on what they came to do.

Proud of all our fighters who stepped through the ropes that night, and every coach who had their back. 🙏

Domani sarà lei a rappresentare tutti noi.
Grazie, guerriera. ❤️🥊
