In search of Seattle‘s best burger, we start at the incomparable @asaderoprime in Ballard, where both the classic Steakhouse burger, and the spicy Sonora burger are on an already stellar menu at lunchtime (plus the Wagyu burger that we’re going to have to get next time). Seriously 🍔delicious and delectable. If this is not the best burger in town, what could be??? #burger #seattlehappyhour #seattlefood #seattle

Tonight it’s not a bad idea to stop into the @trianglefremont and get some fried chicken that has been called “the best in the city”. We just did!!! #seattlehappyhour #seatown #seattlefoodscene #seattleeats #friedchickenporn

@seatown.tastebudz just experienced something extraordinary last night in the form of the incredible new downtown restaurant @laloba.seattle — from the scallop crudo to the trinxat croquetas to the hangar steak, everything was TOP NOTCH! Like, Michelin star vibes! Plus, we had a wonderful server named Kaili who knew the menu inside and out and gave us great recommendations all night long! And we are def suckers for drinks in treasure chests that have (dry ice) smoke coming from them. Top that off with some flamenco music in the background… Beautiful! It’s not often we personally shake the hand of GM — but in this case we had to commend GM Max Murtaugh on a job well done with his restaurant

Great recent article in the Atlantic about the importance to “go deeper” with your friendships, even with your drinking buddies, ask questions about their life and how they’ve changed in the past 10 years, what challenge is they are facing. An important reminder to recognize the humanity within your close friends, your periphery friends, and even people you might just occasionally have a beer with after work.

@theoctopusbar 🏴‍☠️ in Wallingford is easily one of the most distinct and unique bars in all of Seattle. With a nautical theme that is punctuated with bouys, oars, fishnets, fish tanks, this joint is unrivaled, unmissable, and unforgettable (unless you drink too much rum). And, good news, you don’t need to be a pirate 🏴‍☠️ to enjoy the place! #seattlehappyhour #seatown #seattlefoodscene #seattlefood #seattleeats #pirates

Top 9 of 2022. Did a little traveling, celebrated my first year in my new place, found an awesome partner in crime and had many adventures with friends. Cheers to a happy 2022 and an even better 2023.
