This is a simple but important post about accountability, brotherhood and friendship. I’ve been fortunate to build relationships (real ones) with some great men. We push each other hard everyday. We hold each other accountable to our health, finances, families and goals. Life is hard…but easier with the right group of people to “do life” with. Be that friend/brother that others can depend on. Receive the love and support that others are willing to give. If you don’t have deep relationships, that’s ok…but work toward being a great brother to others and be willing to receive this kind of encouragement. We can’t do this alone and we weren’t intended to…Live in the abundance that’s possible. If you can make an introduction, do it…#reallife #ironsharpensiron⚔️ #smallcircle #dolife #notoughguys #brotherhood #strength #power #love #leadership #manhood #kingsonly #tribe #levelupyourlife #levelup #abundance Note:Hit my tag limit..if you’re in the group, you know who you are #iykyk #grateful

Wow…This is great! Are you conditioning your children to embrace “false masculinity” through excuses? Or, do your actions and words demonstrate acceptance of responsibility? “Excuses are tools of the incompetent…” #iykyk #wisdom #raisingmen #leadership #fatherhood #responsibility #masculinity #onlydreambig #ironsharpensiron⚔️ #training #development #parenting

Have you neglected your rest lately? Taking time to rest teaches us an essential truth: God is God, and we are His finite, dependent creation. I needed this TODAY. Guilty as charged...#ItCanWait #Rest #SomeoneNeedsThis #Legacy #MentalHealth #Chill #BeEasy #OnlyDreamBig #Family #takeabreak

CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY MONTH // We loved connecting with Bassey Eno-Idem, co-owner of @shred415_redbank, about what this special month means to him.
"This is the time for me to celebrate those pioneers that have made it possible for me to be a college educated, business owner married to someone of a different race. These all sound very simple, but all were not possible for a person of color not too long ago."
- Are there figures in our current (or past) world that inspired you to be a black leader? "Yes, there are quite a few. But the ones that have had the most meaningful impact are part of my close circle of friends that helped me start my own business @colemanor and @t_jon3s “
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- How do you and/or your business celebrate Black History Month? "To celebrate BHM we are sharing the stories of fellow Black/Brown business and clients via our social media @shred415redbank , along with hosting these businesses in our studio. Be sure to follow along to hear some of their stories!"
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- What inspires you every day? "My Children, knowing that we are paving the way for them to leave a brighter mark on the world is what motivates me to continue to do my work to support our community today."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Bassey lived all over when he was young, but considers Okemos, Michigan to be home. His wife, Jess, found @shred415 when they lived in St. Louis for a couple of years for his job. She fell in love with it for its community and ability to support her on her fitness journey."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You can meet Bassey, take a class with him and see more about the great community they're building there, and be sure to tell them Scout sent you!
