📍 Taberna LX | Toronto 🇵🇹🍷

Portuguese food, but make it ELEVATED! 🤌🏼♥️

One of my favourite spots in Toronto for a reason! From the incredible cocktails and extensive Portuguese wine selection to the most delicious modern takes on dishes we all grew up loving, this place just gets it!

The flavours, the presentation, the atmosphere… everything feels so thoughtfully done. And that São Jorge cheese pull?! I’m STILL thinking about it! 🤯🧀

I love that everything is served petisco style, making it the perfect place to order a little bit of everything, share some wine, and enjoy a proper night out!

SAVE this spot for your next night out! 🍷♥️

👇🏼 Let me know in the comments which Portuguese restaurant we should head to next! 🇵🇹

located in the heart of Little Portugal, Toronto.

A space that celebrates roots, culture and innovation.
The interior was designed by architect and designer Joana Astolfi @joanaastolfi, who incorporated Viúva Lamego tiles into her project with the support of Nuno Fonseca @_miranda_fonseca.

Taberna Lx, in the heart of Little Portugal in Toronto, opened in July this year as a living tribute to Portuguese identity. Created by Kelly Amaral, descendant of one of the first Portuguese families to settle in the area - whose grocery store in the 1960s helped shape the neighbourhood - Taberna was established with the mission of honouring the culture and gastronomy of Portugal, bringing to Canada the richness of its flavours, traditions and art in all their authenticity.

A Portuguese-inspired spot that opened up on Dundas has been on my list of places to visit since it opened in summer 2025. Each dish was well done and clearly thought out, witj a range of unique flavours. My only complaint was that my bread was slightly undercooked in some spots. Have you been? What did you think?
