Some days it’s a full work day.
Some days it’s editing in the car during piano. 😂

Being a mom and running a business is basically just learning to make the most of whatever time you have.

It’s chaotic, but somehow we make it work. 🤍

I was sitting in my backyard the other day when I overheard a couple walking by. The man was frustrated because a small business owner had an auto-reply saying they wouldn’t be answering messages until Monday because they don’t work weekends.

His response was, “Must be nice to make your own hours.”

And honestly? My heart went out to that business owner.

As small business owners, we’re often expected to be available 24/7. But behind every business is still a person. A mom. A dad. A family. Someone trying to enjoy dinner, spend time with their kids, take a day off, or simply exist outside of work for a few hours.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m terrible at turning work mode off. I’ve delivered galleries at midnight, answered messages at 3 a.m., and had clients respond with, “Girl, go to bed.” 😂

But the truth is, we shouldn’t feel guilty for taking time for ourselves.

So if your favorite small business owner doesn’t reply immediately, or you see them post on social media before answering your message, give them a little grace. I promise they’re not ignoring you. They’re likely juggling a hundred things behind the scenes while doing their best to serve every client they can.

Thank you for supporting small businesses, for your patience, and for remembering that we’re people first and business owners second. 🤍

Personally, I think more newborn sessions should go like this 😂
A few baby cuddles, getting bossed around by my clients, and ending up on the other side of the camera for once. Honestly… not mad about it 🤍

Behind every image is a little bit of movement, a lot of patience, and a whole lot of intention.
What you don’t always see is everything happening behind the lens—guiding, adjusting, keeping things light, and moving with the moment.

Sessions like these aren’t about perfection—they’re about connection, letting little personalities shine, and embracing the in-between moments.
Especially with little ones, it’s never about forcing a perfect pose… it’s about creating space for genuine moments to unfold.

It might feel like chaos in the moment… but that’s where the magic really lives 🤍📸

The pressure to grow can get loud—
more bookings, more content, more money, more everything.

But then I look at her…
and realize this is already everything she once hoped for.

Building, growing, and learning…
without forgetting to be proud along the way. 🤍
