POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I made myself a little promise recently.

I spend so much of my time inside Sage and Salt Studio that there are days when I arrive early in the morning, work all day, get back in the car and realise I’ve barely been outside.

So I’ve decided that, whenever I possibly can, I’m going to get out for a walk.

Not for long. Not necessarily with anywhere to go. Just to get outside, enjoy the weather, enjoy the season (especially now we’re heading into my absolute favourite 🍂) and actually enjoy the town I get to work in.

And this week, these are some of the things I’ve noticed along the way.

Blue skies over Petersfield. Flowers in the Physic Garden. Lovely things in shop windows. A fabric shop that made me want to buy everything. A trip to the pond. Lunch with my mum. And possibly the most cheerful orange Jellycat I’ve ever seen. 😂

It turns out there’s rather a lot to see when you actually leave the shop.

So I think this might become a little Sunday thing.
Lovely things, locally.

Just a few of the things I’ve spotted, enjoyed or discovered around Petersfield that week. ❤️

Here’s a WILD story for you. You’ve probs heard of “Blue Monday”, aka the most depressing day of the year, which we’ll be “celebrating” on Monday. But what you probs don’t know that it was actually invented by the marketing team of a travel company as a way to encourage us to book a trip. 😮

Just goes to show the mad power of marketing, that’s turned this idea into a feeling! But in true Loudmouth style, we’re shaking off the neggy vibes and celebrating the blue hues of the small biz world.

This week we’ve got a divine blue topaz pendant, plant-powered skincare, cool shades for sunny winter days as well as table linen, signs and a whole fab fix of brilliant blue.🤩

Big love

Ad. ✨MUSE✨

New hallway sign from @tabsandnut 💕

Here’s a little reminder for everyone: you don’t need to wait around for someone else to inspire you. You are the muse. Your own story, your own beliefs, your own colour.

Be the main character. Be the art. Be the reason someone else suddenly believes in possibility. 🫶

Because when you choose to be your own muse, you stop chasing permission and start creating your own magic. ✨

Just arrived home to the most beautiful gift from the lovely Jess from @tabsandnut after winning their instagram giveaway! A stunning handpainted wooden sign 🤎
.
I picked the word LIVE as a reminder to 'do stuff' and feel alive, really live each day. Fuck the stress and the to-do list and LIVE!
.
...as many of you may know I've spent the last 6 months training to be a grief coach, and that has taught me so much about appreciating each moment (more on that soon).
.
Thank you @tabsandnut ...I adore it and the choice of colours is perfect!
.
Now to find somewhere to hang it so I can see it everyday...
.
Everyone go and give her a follow and buy cool stuff 😎

Creative life can be isolating and solitary at times if you work alone like I do, so meet ups like today’s make. all. the. difference.
Jess + caffeine = an abundance of fizzy mind creativity, dots joining, ping moments and making considered connections and tributaries of fertile brainstorming.

Flowing into the weekend feeling uplifted by our big merging of sisterly ideas.
