Don’t let fear decide what you’re capable of. If you’ve ever thought about doing a triathlon but were too scared to try… this is your sign. 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️ I’m not an elite athlete. I’m just someone who decided to stop letting fear tell me what I could and couldn’t do. Was it hard? YES. Were there moments when I questioned myself? Absolutely. But crossing that finish line was one of the most amazing feelings I’ve ever experienced. And that’s the thing about doing something that scares you — the finish line feels even better because you know everything it took to get there. If you’ve been thinking about signing up for your first triathlon, don’t wait until you feel ready. Start where you are. Learn. Train. Be nervous. Show up anyway. If I can do it, anybody can do it. ❤️ What’s something you’ve been afraid to try? #Triathlon #FirstTriathlon #TriathlonTraining #WomenInTriathlon #EnduranceAthlete

not every workout is going to feel good, and honestly, that’s kind of the point. In this clip, Taco and I talk about why journaling your training matters. Not in a super intense “dear diary, today I became an athlete” kind of way, but in a practical way. You start to notice what actually affects you. Maybe you slept terribly. Maybe you ate like trash. Maybe work was stressful. Maybe your legs felt heavy for no obvious reason. Or maybe everything clicked and you want to remember what led to that. The journal becomes less about tracking perfect workouts and more about understanding yourself while you’re training for something bigger. Full episode is live on YouTube. the finish line pose says everything. In this clip, Taco and I talk about his Ironman finish line moment and why he chose to hit the pose the way he did. After months of training, learning how to swim, figuring out the bike, pushing through doubt, and almost getting broken by the race, the finish line becomes more than a photo. That’s what I loved about this full conversation. It wasn’t only about Ironman training. It was about the emotion behind committing to something that feels bigger than you, then slowly becoming the person who can finish it. Full episode is live on YouTube. I posted the first full episode of Chasing Better by momnt on YouTube. Taco and I talked for almost 3 hours about running, the Mexico City Marathon, New York, Ironman training, learning to swim, buying the bike, family, culture, doubt, commitment, and what happens when you say yes to something before you feel fully ready. This is the first of many, and I’m excited to keep building this little world. If you’re into running, endurance, culture, big goals, or honest conversations about becoming better through movement, the full episode is live now on YouTube. Episode 1 of Strides Through H-Town 🎙️ I sit down with Taco (@tacoxrun), a Houston runner whose journey is built on patience, growth, and belief. From his first marathon at the @maraton_cdmx to racing on home turf at the @chevronhoustonmarathon, Taco shares how steady progress in running has shaped his life off the road too. We talk about honoring his parents’ move from Mexico to Texas, pushing through self-doubt, starting before you feel ready, and using your platform to help others believe in what’s possible. He also opens up about his long-term goal of one day taking on an Ironman. A reminder that growth happens one step, one mile, and one decision at a time. Check out his story at the link in bio or wherever you get your podcasts. #marathonrunning #houstonmarathon #houston #texasrunners
