What a week! Drove all the way back to the biggest tournament in the west - @wonbass US Open and nailed another top 5 on Lake Mead! It’s been years since I fished any event out west and it was awesome to spend some time with all my west coast friends and roommates @willduncanfishing and @colemdaniel was a huge bonus. Special shoutout to my friend @tom_nieto22 for helping with my boat prep & electrical work before the trip. Also want to thank @rockwall_marine for doing a last minute repair on my trailer and making sure everything was tight and ready to go👊. Big thanks to my C-Pap Bro🤣 @taiaufishing for getting my Lowrance A2 scope dialed in.

Congrats to my two great co anglers Ross Gebhardt and my old friend Gary Bradford - they got top ten finishes as well🎣

Recap video coming soon 👍

The Yamamoto 4.75” Dagger Minnow, rocks and sways on a slower retrieve. Quicker twitches give it a faster roll, while the little bulbs on the tail add their own flutter.

Fish it on a jighead and experiment with your cadence. If they’re following without committing, try a few sharper twitches before you reach for another bait.

Pick your color and get rigged up.

OCTOBER 24 @yamamoto_fishing Open Team, AM Teams, and Kayak Divisions are back on the country's #1 bass lake Clearlake.

GSM gave away thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars away in prizes and product to the crowd after weigh in.

Hosted food from Dave at Clearlake Outdoors and it was plentiful and really good last year so I'd expect the same this year.

At the this years event @taiaufishing @codymeyerangler @markpilgrimproangler and more #yamamoto #clearlake
