Check out how beautiful this boat ride was at Lake Mead during the @wonbass US Open. My 2026 @basscatboats Lynx is such an awesome platform to fish from. It got rough the 2nd day and we still came back dry. So far, this is my favorite model.

In fishing, sometimes you have to make adjustments. I saw quite a few boats fishing this area. The water was relatively clean. I knew these fish were highly pressured by the time I got there. I figured I’d make an adjustment by pulling out my @phenixrods K2 drop shot rod. It’s rigged with one of my favorite new @roboworm_official colors- MM411. Proud to say it’s a color I designed. It flat out catches them!

A law enforcement officer that I know says that no wake means 1,000 RPM or up to 5MPH…. There’s always some guy that thinks it’s shifting into gear with no throttle. Bruh, you’re holding up the line! It’s already a long no wake and you’re making it nearly twice as long. Anyway, somebody had to say it! 😂🤷‍♂️ by @taiaufishing

I’m going to keep it 💯 with you guys.
For well over a year, I’ve been trying to figure out if God is trying to redirect my path or if I’m being attacked by the devil. It’s a weird spot to be in. So many weird things that are out of my control keeps happening. When it happens constantly, it starts getting in your head. All I can do is keep pushing forward and do my best.

Anyway, every fish you see here was caught on the @yamamoto_fishing Uni Max. The rod is the new Virtus Red Urchin Special by @phenixrods. I’ve been absolutely hammering them on this combo. Pick him up at @copperstatemarinetackle

We caught them okay the 2nd day but slipped in the standings a little bit. Needed that bite to get us right. It didn’t happened but I’m still grateful to finish in check range. 26th/178
I left right after the event and got home at 1 AM. That was a long and challenging 2 weeks on the road! Just being able to push through the pain into battle was an accomplishment for me.
I only have a few days at home and we’re off to @bamtrail_ Super 60 at Don Pedro later this week!
