Because what do you mean I’m walking the red carpet, being interviewed, and celebrating a travel show I created and produced MYSELF?! (With the help of @bkcreativebz)😭🎬✨

A show that started as an idea. A dream I refused to give up on, even when I had no idea how I was going to make it happen.

And now? We’re at FILM FESTIVALS?! 🥹

If there’s one thing I hope you take from this moment, it’s this: “Don’t let the size of your beginning determine the size of your dreams.”

Start small. Start scared. Start with what you have. Just START.

Because you never know where that first step might take you.

Over the next few days the VMFA will host special events curated around the exhibit. Including fashion shows, workshops, guided tours and intimate receptions.

A #Black woman says things got uncomfortable on a flight from #PuertoRico to #Atlanta after she noticed the man sitting beside her allegedly sending racist text messages to his family. 😳

According to the woman, the messages referred to her as a “big Black woman” and included a comment about raising prices to “weed out” Black and gay people. After seeing the texts, she decided to confront him directly. (🎥: @taila.thecreator)
