“Have you stopped training bro?” Er. No.

2 days out from London Strongest Man. Almost 30 lbs lighter from my last comp and feeling good. Real good.
Some work from the past few weeks. Cambered bar squats. Working up to 295kg for triples (225kg bar 60kg chain). This will be one of the events on Sunday. 285kg for max reps. Last years event and overall winner @beast_builder put up 7 reps.
Reckon I can beat that?

Dm me if you wanna know details of the venue and time

I kid you not. This is breakfast for me these days. What have these babies been hiding from us this stuff is AMAAZINGG.

More importantly. Because it’s white rice (and mushy at that) it’s SO easily digestible. When eating large amounts of food you don’t want your last meal@hanging about in your gut for ages. You want it in. Then out.
Week 1 of my diet with the main man @aubergine_avenger. Current meal situation:

meal 1 :- 3 whole eggs/ 1 scoop whey/ 100g baby rice / 1 banana
meal 2:- 150g cooked weight skinless chicken or turkey breast / 300g cooked weight white basmati rice /100g broccoli/ 1 apple / 20g plain almonds or cashews
Meal 3:- 150g cooked weight skinless chicken or turkey breast / 300g cooked weight white basmati rice /100g broccoli/ 1 banana / 20g plain almonds or cashews
Meal 4:- 150g cooked weigh lean red meat / 300g cooked weight white basmati rice /100g broccoli/ 1 apple / 20g plain almonds or cashews
Meal 5:- 250g Greek yogurt/ 200g any fresh fruit you like / 30g natural almond or peanut butter

#worldwaterday and I've got my 2 litres in for today after track night #marathontraining and it was easy to turn on a tap and drink clean water. Raising money for water wells in #Gambia to make it easier for communities to have access to a basic human need #digdeepwithjogonhijabi #digdeep #digdeepwithpennyappeal #digdeepchallenge www.justgiving.com/jogonhijabi #takbirtraining #thankstoGod #alhamdulillah for clean water #grateful

If you have one these shirts it says a lot to me about your morals. I see people talking shit about there not being a Muslim platform for fitness or a consistent one..... Firstly if that's how you feel then don't be one of those Muslims who complain about the ummah that you yourself are a part of. Do something to change how you feel instead of getting a 6 pack on your thumbs. Secondly.. When you find people out here doing it, don't expect perfection. Don't expect to see Shaykh Fawzan in Genesis gym doing deadlifts it ain't happening (may Allah preserve him). You will always find things you disagree with. Take the good leave off the bullshit. If my back feels half #decent on #deadlifts this week I plan to then compete at the @lutonsmoststrongest #charity #powerlifting #meet I know I probably won't win that 83kg class but at least I can get my foot back in competitive powerlifting
