A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this year’s Dasi (다시 · again) gathering so special. 09.19.2026 6 & B garden East Village, NYC Continued our heartfelt connection with @teaartsculture continues—from Odes to Common Things earlier this year to their Community Engagement Tea program. It was so meaningful to bring this installation and tea gathering back to @6bgarden for a third year. So much goes into a gathering, many hands, open hearts, time shared with one another, and people simply stepping in and being part of it. I’m deeply grateful to all the friends who brought their time, hands, and hearts to make it happen; to 6 & B Garden and its members for welcoming this work again; and to everyone who came to share tea, conversation, and a little time together. Special thanks to @cpfnyc, @partnershipsforparks, and @greenthumbnyc for supporting this project. And grateful to: Photo: @kevinkhuang (1-11) & @lils_nguyen (12-17)— for capturing the quiet moments and seeing the gathering through such a beautiful eye. Garment: @wenjuelu — for the gentle layers that brought another kind of beauty to the ceremony. Again, thank you all for being part of it.

Back to back to back basket camps!! This season has been basket abundant! 🧺 I’m not sure if it is because this gathering draws very creative folks, or if it is because we spend the weekend creating beautiful vessels out of nothing but sticks, or if it because we spend two days camping in restorative places, or if it is because willow asks us to drop our need for perfection and see the beauty in the flaws, but BIPOC basket camp always bring such joy, connection, and silliness and I look forward to these gatherings all year! Thinking of all the sweet times we shared this summer! Big thank you @willowvalefarm for all of your willow wisdom, for sharing your materials, and for your humor and patience. Thanks for being a great teacher and mentor and making this craft more accessible to folks. Huge thank you to Quaker Powell House for hosting us and making your facilities accessible to us! 💚🩷 Another big thank you to @flyingdeernaturecenter for holding it down and hosting us all year! & of course a HUGE shoutout to molting Cicada, White Tailed Deer, Blue Heron, Gold Finch, Meadow Vole, Wood Frog, Fire, Rain, and all of the other wild kin who showed up for a bit to hang during these gatherings :) Keep an eye out for 2027 basket camp dates coming soon!! #blackandwild #basketcamp #willowbasketweaving #willowvalefarm #flyingdeernaturecenter
