As we step into this new month I need you to

Stop Doing These Things ⬇️

1) Styling yourself for your branding shoots- you need to make sure you look elevated in your photos not like you’re going to the office. By you styling yourself you risk wasting money & time, don’t take that chance sis.

2) Wearing Outdated & Damaged clothes- That dingy blazer from 10 years ago ain’t cutting boo, it’s time you throw her out and get a new one!

3) Get overwhelmed while shopping- I get it trying to shop for new clothes and the latest trends is a lot but if you have an expert shop with you it won’t be so bad, it will actually be fun!

4) Waiting to work with me- what are you waiting for? The return of Christ?! Sis there is no time like the present and as time passes by you’ll continue to dress in clothes you hate all b/c you’re “waiting”. Stop waiting and just book with me already!

I swear, last year I was done. I think I was done after year 4, but then I said let’s round it up to 5 and go out with a bang. Which we did!!

As this year went on, I started wondering how we would celebrate the end of the year and give back to this community we love. There was no way I was going to do 12 Days again. As much as I LOVED hosting them, it took lots of planning and effort. For me to talk about self-care at least once every 12 Days, but unable to practice it myself because of 12 Days just didn’t make sense to me 🧐 I felt stressed during my birthday because Dec 1st was just five days away and I was always in the thick of finalizing everything. I started to feel sad that half my December wasn’t focused on my family and all the things I wanted to do for the holidays. To say I was stressed out is an understatement.

I have a go-big-or-go-home attitude. So when I felt like I couldn’t do 12 Days anymore, that was it. But what I’ve been learning this year is that sometimes “just enough” is good enough. For example, I struggle to do chores or tasks because I always feel like I have to do it all in one go. But this year I’ve been learning things like, folding one basket of laundry instead of three is still better than none. Or, I can clean the counter top without feeling like I have to deep-clean the entire kitchen/bathroom too.

And with that I came with the thought that I can still host an awesome giveaway event without having to do TWELVE FRICKIN DAYS. 5 days is less than half, but it’s enough.

I can’t wait to share the special experiences we are giving away this year! 💖 Mark your calendars and opt in for the reminders for the themes you want to participate in (in my stories). Giveaways start on Monday November 14!!!! 🤩 Love you all and can’t wait to celebrate you!!!! ♥️

If you’re a small business owner like me and struggle with aspects of your business-whether it’s because it’s too overwhelming, too stressful, takes too much time, etc-please know that you’re not alone ♥️ 6.5 years in and I’m always still learning. You can and will find a way to do what’s sustainable for you 🫂
