Fall Try On Diaries ft Zara 🍁🍂

One thing I’m learning about getting older is I don’t want more things, I want more experiences. ✨

The trips. The dinners. The concerts. The random nights out with my girls. The moments that give you something to look forward to

Growing up isn’t about slowing down…it’s about being more intentional about what we spend our time, money & energy on 🤍

37 is looking a lot like collecting memories instead of things ✈️

Dubai was a place I had to experience at least once and I’m happy I got to. What experience is still on your bucket list? 👀

#OOTD Engagement Edition 👩🏾‍❤️‍👨🏽💍🤍

Today’s outfit of the day has a very special guest… my baby 🤍

I’ve always known I wanted to take our engagement photos outdoors, surrounded by beautiful scenery, and the Scarborough Bluffs was the perfect backdrop to bring that vision to life. ✨

For the shoot, we kept things soft and neutral with our outfits because I wanted the scenery, the love, and the moment to speak for itself. 🤍

Normally, these OOTDs are a solo affair, but this one felt a little different… because this time, I brought my fiancé along 💍

Experiences Over EVERYTHING 🙌🏾

Got to see 2 incredibly talented artists @chrisbrownofficial @usher with my bestie last night and it was so much fun 😝🥳🎉

We were just 2 millennial girlies reliving our childhood’s by singing our hearts out to our fav songs. Such an amazing experience 🥰

5 things worth the money especially when your over the age of 35

1)Therapy: I get that you’re “ok” but are you really? Unpack some of that trauma girl and heal 🫶🏾

2)Costco membership: you actually save money and get really good quality stuff 👌🏾

3)Experiences: you may not remember every purchase you make but you’ll remember the experiences you had. Whether it’s a wine tasting with your girls, camping with your kids or a solo vacation to the Caribbean invest in that experience & create a memory 🤍

4)Good skin care routine: not getting specific but we’re getting older and need to maintain our faces/skin. Investing in products that work will do wonders for your skin ✨

5)Teeth cleaning: your smile is one of the first things people notice when they approach you so make sure they’re clean 😄

Bonus
6)Supplements: some of us are hormonal and need some vitamins to help us out lol

7)Gym membership: they say the work we put into our bodies in our 30’s will show up for us in our 60’s+. So do the work & Help future you!

8)Fashion stylist: well duh! lol we get into style ruts as we evolve/age and a stylist will help you get out of one. Stylist help you look your best at every age. Need help click the link in my bio 📲

POV: It’s ‘08 You’re at Caribana, you’re in your cutest urban behaviour fit and your trying to find your friends in between getting food so you call them on your @motorolaca phone 😅

If your from the city or even outside the city you know Caribana weekend for the West Indian community is a major event and one of the highlights of our summer 🎉

And in honour of this weekend I had to throw it back to 18 yr Me attending one of the biggest events of the summer.

This day was fun, no shootings and not much violence and that’s what I wishing for this weekend to be. I no longer attend Bana but for those of you who will please be careful and stay safe. I wish you guys a sunny peaceful and fun Caribana 🙏🏾🤍🎉
