Things we love at Hannah’s Bakehouse pt. 2 • our coffee is locally roasted and organic • ps., you can also find our sourdough sandwich bread there
.
every single baked good we have is carefully crafted and yes, it’s sourdough • from our long fermented cookies made with my diabetic dad in mind as to not spike his blood sugar to our bagels, it’s all gut healthy
.
our space is like a second home… probably because so much of it came from my home! The long table is my dining room table where this all began, the coffee station table is my grandmothers, and so much of this space was built by my hands
.
our pastries have been in the works for YEARS • this wasn’t an overnight dream, this was the product of years of midnight baking as a teenager, learning techniques my grandmothers passed down, and lots of errors to make (almost) perfection
.
Thank you for being here and loving our space as we do 🖤✨🥐

Honey Bee 🐝 latte • the most delicious cardamom + whipped honey blend 🖤 make it hot for a fall forward drink or take it iced for a sweet treat

September at the Bakehouse • this month was full of learning and growth and mapping out new rhythms here at the Bakehouse • we had sell out days where we went from bakery in the morning to straight coffee shop at night and days where our team took home a laaaaawt of cookies • we’re grateful for every day here • friends brought their businesses to mine, where you can pick up the most beautiful handmade bags, tallow and candles • we’ve sat and worked on our paperwork together, drank coffee together and shared in the hard moments of running businesses • our hearts and calendars are full as we navigate our new normal… like Rhett falling asleep in a crowded restaurant after a long day running the front end • as always, I want to THANK YOU for helping get this childhood dream of mine off the ground and to everyone who’s poured their heart and soul into this shop and to me: I love you dearly 🖤✨🥐 thank you for bringing the magic

🎉🐾 HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY, WILLO! 🐾🎉

Yesterday, one of our biggest fans celebrated her 4th birthday, and her sweet mom sent us some birthday pictures! 🥹🧡

Willo has been coming to see us since we first started at the market, and if you’ve ever been around our booth early on a Sunday morning, chances are you already know her — or at least you’ve heard her! 😂

You can usually hear her excitement before the market even opens.

Willo has her Sunday morning routine DOWN:
🐾 Stop by while we’re setting up for a couple of snacks
🐾 Go for a walk by the river
🐾 Come back for her pup cup
🐾 Collect plenty of snuggles, lovins & attention from us

She’s become part of our Sunday mornings and quite the little celebrity around the market. 🧡 Seeing her excitement when she realizes where she is never gets old.

Happy 4th Birthday, sweet Willo! 🎂🐶
We hope your day was filled with treats, adventures and ALL the attention you deserve.

We’ll see you Sunday morning, Willo…

although we’re pretty sure we’ll hear you first. 😂🐾🧡
