A special moment for the Fuimaono ‘Aiga! 🏡💛 “Home ownership has always been a dream for our family, and today that dream has become a reality.”✨ - Fuimaono ‘Aiga (family) On 29 September, Angela and Lance received the keys to their very first home through our Shared Equity Programme. More than a set of keys, this milestone marks another step towards being well-homed and creating a place their family can truly call home. In May 2026, the Fuimaono family began their journey with one goal in mind: creating a secure and lasting home for their family. Throughout the process, they remained committed, embraced the guidance and support available, strengthened their financial position and kept sight of their vision for the future. Just four months later, they proudly stepped into their first home as homeowners. Their journey is a powerful example of how determination, preparation and the right support can help turn the dream of home ownership into reality. It was a privilege for our Housing team to walk alongside the Fuimaono ‘aiga and celebrate this special milestone. Congratulations, Fuimaono ‘aiga! May your new home be filled with love, laughter, faith and treasured memories for generations to come 💛 K’aute Pasifika Trust and Pacific Housing Waikato would like to acknowledge our community partners whose support helps make journeys like this possible: @ministryforpacificpeoples_ , @tamakiregeneration , @te_runanga_o_kirikiriroa , @bridge.housing.nz , @housingfoundation , and @westpacnz Fa’afetai tele lava (thank you very much) for your continued support and commitment to helping Pacific families achieve their aspirations of homeownership. If your family is interested in the Shared Equity Programme and exploring a pathway to home ownership, please reach out to housing@kautepasifika.co.nz Together, we are helping Pacific ‘aiga build pathways to intergenerational wellbeing and prosperity. #SharedEquity #HomeOwnership #CommunityImpact #PacificHousingWaikato #kptjourneys

Hard hat on in Tāmaki with Minister @cjsbishop this morning! @tamakiregeneration is government and council owned, and it’s replacing 2,500 old state homes with around 10,500 new affordable social homes across Glen Innes, Panmure and Point England. Biggest regeneration programme in the country, right here in our patch. 11 old dungers → 29 homes. Down the road, 5 → 27. Shout out to Precision Construction and Signature Construction who are key partners. And always good to spend time with the trades academy students from @tamakicollegeofficial on the tools while we walked through. Homes going up, careers going up with them. I’m really excited to champion TRC, do what I can to support this wonderful initiative more and more. 👏 to the TRC, supporters and @tamakicollegeofficial !

Pīrangi has reached an exciting milestone, with all the homes now enclosed 🏡 With the project about 75% complete, the pace of work has seen the 88 homes over three superlots take shape quickly. Over the coming months we’ll see the next phase of architectural work completed, including verandahs, external detailing, while the interiors take shape. Landscaping of the shared outdoor spaces is also set to get underway. We’re excited to see the project evolving quickly and we’re looking forward to sharing more updates as construction continues.
