🚨EXCLUSIVE: A coalition of medical groups representing 13000 NHS workers has told the UK Government to stop the rollout of “chilling” plans that crack down on pro-Palestine advocacy. It comes a week after the Department of Health endorsed Lord John Mann’s review into antisemitism. The review was supposed to address other forms of racism, but the coalition has told me exclusively that his recommendations “are being implemented without meaningful engagement with established evidence or affected communities,” and risk creating a hierarchy of racism. I can also reveal that some of the groups listed in Mann’s acknowledgements weren’t even proactively engaged with. Racism consultant Roger Kline, who the General Medical Council commissioned in 2018 to look into why ethnic minority healthcare workers are overrepresented in their fitness-to-practice processes, has exclusively told me that he thinks Mann was the wrong person to lead this review: “Lord Mann has been too closely aligned with defending the interests of Israel rather than that of all Jewish people.” Kline adds that senior NHS staff have expressed concerns to him about Mann’s proposals but are too fearful to speak out. Zionism, settler colonialism, occupation and apartheid kills. As healthcare workers, is our duty to protect life. All life. Therefore exposing this harm is imperative and it is incumbent on us to condemn the largest mass killing of our colleagues that the world has ever seen.

Silence is not neutrality. It is complicity.

Truth is the biggest enemy of the oppressor and for their abuse to continue, truth tellers must be silenced. By any means necessary.

We will not tolerate this. We will not tolerate bullying and intimidation of healthcare workers who are fulfilling their ethical and moral obligations by speaking out against gen0cide and who are being failed by employers and medical institutions.

We stand united with our courageous colleagues in Palestine and around the world.

Arrest at healthcare workers against censorship and genocide rally, London, 15 Oct 2025

At yesterday's demo, Met police turned up to arrest a doctor mid-rally. Having interrupted the demo and publicly arrested this doctor, they realised they'd got the wrong person.
Once again some of the officers got rather heavy handed, aggressively pushing those present.
Not entirely sure why the Met felt the need to storm into a perfectly peaceful rally to make such a shambolic public arrest, all rather embarrassing for them.
