One night, ten chefs, and more than a dozen different dishes (including from a welcome raw bar) made up “Family Meal,” a reunion of the Little Donkey team, but at @lemadelinerestaurant in Quincy. A remarkable meal from a legendary crew, who served us Parker house rolls with chicken liver pâté, octopus à la plancha, steak tartare with shrimp chips, spiced lamb bacon with grossed and pickled shallots, fluke crudo that I want to eat everyday with strawberry habanero aquachile and mango pearls, furikaki-crusted halibut and Thai bird mango salsa, wood roasted steak picahna with puréed black eyed peas and green tomato vinaigrette that was certainly a table favorite, eggplant biryani, bok choy, and crispy rice cakes. For dessert: deviled eggs, of all kinds; cookie dough, crème brûlée, chocolate mousse, and pistachio.

Another Dot Day Parade @dot_parade in the books. 🎋✨

This year, Boston Little Saigon brought Tre Già, Măng Mọc to Dorchester Ave — a float celebrating the generations that came before us, the generations growing today, and the generations still to come.

Thank you to every volunteer who painted bamboo, hauled supplies, built late into the night, walked in the parade, and helped bring this vision to life. What started as an idea became something beautiful because of all of you. Thank you @feeneybrothers for your absolute support!

And thank you to everyone who waved, smiled, and celebrated with us along the route. We are so grateful to call Dorchester home.

🌱 Tre già, măng mọc. The bamboo grows because generations continue to care for one another.

Năm nay, Boston Little Saigon mang chủ đề Tre Già, Măng Mọc đến Dorchester Ave — một chiếc xe hoa tôn vinh những thế hệ đi trước, những thế hệ đang tiếp nối hôm nay, và những thế hệ sẽ đến sau này.

Xin chân thành cảm ơn tất cả các tình nguyện viên đã cùng sơn tre, vận chuyển vật liệu, dựng xe hoa đến tận khuya, tham gia diễn hành, và góp sức biến ý tưởng này thành hiện thực. Từ một ý tưởng ban đầu, mọi thứ đã trở thành một điều thật đẹp nhờ sự chung tay của tất cả mọi người.
