I wish more women knew that when they crave chocolate before their bleed it means that their body needs more nourishment, and chocolate is a wonderful way to get that. Sometimes I forget some of these aren’t normal to most people! These are some things we have in our household to reduce our toxin exposure in daily life, and I whole heartedly believe they make a difference in how I feel day to day because let’s be real… we live in a very toxic world and even “normal” daily products & lifestyle choices are contributing to a substantial toxic load.

These choices & life investments (yes these are investments because we’d rather pay for these now than pay for medical bills down the line) have meant my family and I are not just surviving but are actually able to THRIVE as our best selves 🙏🏼

I think one of the antidotes to disconnection in the diaspora is reconnecting to our hands. Reconnecting to crafting with natural elements, to the human skills we not only once needed for our very survival ~ but that are fundamental for connection, belonging, and true understanding of our symbiosis with the living world 💚🌿

I’ve been integrating into my new life on the beautiful island of Waiheke, a new season of motherhood with my son at kindy twice a week, and the ups and downs of running my own business amidst the whirlwind of change & general life humanness in the age of rapidly advancing AI etc, etc. Spaciousness always brings inspiration ✨

I’m excited to be back in service in a new and evolved rhythm 🌿

I was recently reading about the lack of women’s rights in Afghanistan, and it was the most shocking thing I had read for awhile…to know that it’s 2026 and women are still being denied their most basic rights simply because they carry the mystery of being women.

It made me ponder on the responsibility we have as women who have freedom, to reclaim our innate wisdom, intuition & vitality, to remember our authority as creators of life, to connect to nature’s guidance, to fight for our sovereignty & equality for those who cannot, and return to the practices of our ancestors that have been (and are still in some cultures) forbidden ~ the same practices that pave a regenerative path forward for life on earth rooted in ancient feminine wisdom & freedom for all 🕊️ ultimately we are central to the manifestation of our culture.

It is my deepest hope that in this remembering, and the passing of it on to future generations… that the world will finally know peace that reverberates to every corner of the globe.🤍

Some of these might be controversial to some ~ but honestly I see the effects of under eating, pathologised motherhood, painful periods masking underlying health conditions, chronic stress, overconsumption of pain relief & lack of connection to food/nourishment almost every week in clinic and I’m passionate about women overcoming these obstacles that stand in the way of real vitality.

I believe when we look deeply into the natural world & see symptoms as wise teachers, Nature has the answers for us 🤍🌿

Waiheke vibes.

I spent such a special time in Waiheke Island visiting my dear sisters @tamsinkaufman / @wildfolkherbal & @rachelbakker_ / @earth.tostone

and I got the pleasure to sit in circle with them once again, over some cacao, and blessed their Moontime necklaces 🩸❤️

In the energy of Imbolc and Lion’s gate we gathered multiple times… shared our love, our visions, our dreams and hopes.

I find this annual (minimum) circle with these 2 essential, so I’ll always make the effort to travel and meet them, gals I love you ❤️

A return to the roots 🤎 a huge evolution on my journey happened 6 years ago when I was studying naturopathy and started working for the team at @seleno.health just as they launched their ceremonial cacao. This lead me on a profound journey of working deeply with the medicine of cacao, and sharing it across Aotearoa.

Through my relationship with this plant over the years I’ve experienced the alchemy of my inner and outer world ✨✨ an expanded capacity to experience love & joy, and an opening in my awareness to the story that each and every plant has to share when we enter intentional relationship.

Cacao shows us the subtle language of nature that communicates through the heart space 🤎

There is so much beauty that emerges when we sit in ceremony with a plant, learn its origin stories, and study its medicine. This foundational experience of mine with cacao has been the gateway & inspiration to exploring other plants together in the Earth Medicine Circle.

This journey is an introduction to the 3 month container starting in September, a taste of the modalities we are going to be exploring with Nettle, Oat straw & Red clover.

It feels incredibly special to come full circle and host my teachers & friends, Corin & Sally from @seleno.health for an interview on all things cacao, their mission to share ethically sourced cacao & preserve indigenous tradition, including an insight into their 3rd cacao variety coming soon to NZ, which completes the trilogy of the Andean cosmovision 🌀🦅

Tune into the medicine wheel within 🌀 the energetic architecture of nature. The directions, elements, and seasons are the universal blueprint of nature, of everything seen or unseen.
