I just got back from a long weekend camping at New River Gorge in West Virginia and I’m still glowing from it. 🏕️

One thing I packed that I cannot stop talking about: these @tangieco Shampoo and Conditioner Bars. Superfood Selections, Protecting & Regenerating, with Coffee, Ginseng, and Rice Protein. I used them the whole trip and my hair was honestly thriving.

What I love most is that they’re biodegradable and safe for you AND the environment. No plastic bottles piling up at the campsite, no worry about what’s rinsing into the creek. Just good ingredients that do what they’re supposed to do and leave things better than you found them. That’s the whole philosophy, right?

We carry these right here in the shop and I genuinely think everyone should have a set. Perfect for camping, travel, or just simplifying your routine at home.

Come in and grab some! We’re at 24 South 7th Street, Indiana PA. We’d love to see you! 🌿

"That ""lemon fresh"" dish soap smell? Often a synthetic fragrance sitting alongside ingredients like triclosan and phosphates, chemicals that can harm your skin (i.e., eczema) as well as aquatic life once they wash down the drain (per UK Environment Agency data).

We rounded up 8 non-toxic, plastic-free dish soap brands that actually clean (swipe through).

Did you know laundry detergent contains fragrance, petroleum based surfactants and other chemicals that mess with your health and hormones?

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I’ve tried all of the non-toxic detergents out there. We love:
@koalaeco detergent
@branchbasics oxygen boost

Have you swapped to non-toxic laundry soap yet?

So... lemme do that math for you 😚

How to use a concentrate cleaning bar:

LAUNDRY LIQUID
Just cut and drop the bar into a 1 gallon container with 1 gallon of water and let it dissolve overnight. Use regular tap water. No hot water, no stirring or mixing required.

ALL PURPOSE CLEANER
Cut the bar into 6 equal parts and store the remainder in the box. Dissolve one piece in 3 cups of warm water. Allow it to dissolve for 1 hour. Fill your spray bottle with the solution. Spray and wipe the surface clean with a dry cloth for streak-free results. (Note: Contents may settle between uses, so gently swish the bottle before use.)

FOAMING HAND SOAP
Cut the bar into 8 equal parts.
Slice it lengthwise first, then cut it in half two times on the short side. This will give you 8 equal pieces.

Drop one part (about 0.35 grams) into 2 cups of water.
Let it sit until dissolved.
For unscented, add 5–10 drops of your favorite essential oils for scent.
Fill your container and dispense as usual.
If you prefer a more bubbly hand-washing experience, use less water.

No real effort required— just drop the bar (or a piece) of Tangie’s hand & body wash concentrate into water, and it will completely dissolve within a few hours. Use regular tap water; no hot water, stirring, or mixing is required.
