Soft Solids wax lighting is featured in the new Material Report: 3daysofdesign 2026, produced by @architonicag in partnership with @materialbank.europe .

Fifty-four pages of independent research from this year’s @3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, a publication that reads more like an essay on material culture than a report.

The publication is available free of charge on @materialbank.europe 🤍

Thank you to @paoloruta_ and @tanjahe____ for their research and writing, @simonkeanecowell for the editorial direction, @ximenapaiva for the design, @robertapyttau for the on-site photography, and the teams at Architonic and Material Bank Europe for creating such a thoughtful publication and making independent material research freely accessible to the design community.

UNEXPECTED wasn’t an event.
It was a time.
An in-between.
A space that asked to be felt, not explained.
What remains is not the program.
But the trace it left behind.

Some impressions from our time at BFH 1650 during Art Basel 2025, on the occasion of the presentation of INHERENT, a collaboration between @stefanarmbruster , @linck_ceramics and myself.
Grateful for the conversations, the quiet moments, and the energy shared.
Thank you to @blackforesthouse1650 for the kind hospitality, and to @xaverhaack for the thoughtful documentation.
