We’re celebrating the number of women recognized across the 60th CMA Awards nominations. And we’re also asking why there isn’t a single person of color on the ballot.

The talent is there. Kane Brown just landed at No. 1 on the Mediabase country radio chart with “Woman,” and Shaboozey, The War and Treaty, and Kashus Culpepper have all had standout years of their own.

Progress is worth applauding, but it’s also worth pushing further. Country music claims to have room for everyone, and the nominations should reflect that. Two things can be true at the same time…

Who else deserved a spot? Tell us in the comments. 👇

12 parties. 7 showcases. 1 official panel. 1 Keynote. 1 Honor & Awards Ceremony. 5 days. Math isn’t my strength but I’m pretty sure that’s a lot. 😅 WHAT A WEEK! So grateful to all of the wonderful people who are a part of this community we call “Americana” and all of the amazing hardworking folks @americanafest. 💚🖤 Old friends were hugged, new friends were made, and we had the best (and sweatiest) time! Thank you to everyone who came to our “Whose Roots?” panel at the conference and everyone who came out to support our clients at their events and showcases! Cant wait to do it all again next year… but for now, REST!⚡️⚡️#americanafest #musicpublicist #artistmanager

August has come to an end and I’m fully welcoming September and, fingers crossed, all of the autumnal vibes. A few songs to fuel my soul, cozy jigsaw puzzles, and a restoration project. Thank you universe for all the good stuff and the good people.

I'm so honored to share that I'll be speaking at AMERICANAFEST 2026 as a Moderator for "Whose Roots? Expanding the Americana Narrative."

I'll be speaking with Tanner Davenport, Amanda Shaw & Natalie Bailey for a conversation about the many cultures and musical traditions that have shaped Americana music, and how we can help ensure those voices continue to be seen, heard, and celebrated!

Together we will explore how artists can preserve and honor their cultural heritage while building sustainable careers, reach new audiences without sacrificing authenticity and discuss the role media, branding and storytelling play in shaping the future of Americana Music 🎶

Whether you're an artist, manager, publicist, or fan, We'd love to see you there!
