Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

After much thoughts and prayers, I will not be forgoing the 2026-27 season after finding out I had a full UCL tear in my throwing arm. This tear was most likely from my senior year of high school. I was advised by both my coaching staff and medical staff to take care of everything as quickly as possible. I pursued Tommy John + Nerve reposition surgery a little less than a week ago and on track to begin the next steps with physical therapy. I am thankful for Dr. Litner’s and his medical staff at Houston Memorial for everything they have done for me already.

About halfway through my first semester of college, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunities McNeese has given me. Whether it’s on campus or on the track I’ve been welcome with open arms. I’m so thankful for this track program that really has felt like another family to me. They’ve been so supportive through this whole process, and words can’t describe my gratitude towards my throws crew.

This is not the end, but an opportunity for a stronger beginning. #GeauxPokes

Eternally grateful that I could spend my last collegiate season with @letutfxc and all my wonderful teammates. Truly rekindled my love of track & field 🫶 Stats aside I’m glad I got to know all of you.
