POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Ten years ago, the School of Kindness was a little idea and a handful of schools willing to give it a try. Sometimes we had to beg them to let us in! 🙏😂

That little idea has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined. We now provide free workshops and assemblies, resources for teachers, a Kindness Ambassador programme, monthly challenges and our national Kindness Awards. 🏆

Over the past ten years, we’ve reached almost one million children 🎉 That’s almost a million children who have learnt why kindness matters, discovered the science behind it and explored the impact it can have on our physical and mental wellbeing. And, most of all, who know that they have the power to make a difference.

A huge thank you to every school that has welcomed us, every child who has joined in, and our sponsor @nbb.recycledfurniture for supporting our work.

Thank you to our wonderful patrons and ambassadors @donnaashworthwords @emilycoxhead @stacieswift @davidrhamiltonphd and Professor Robin Banerjee, and to our fabulous team: Emily, Rachel, Krish, Tanya, Greig and Jaime.

@howdeninsurance @theweekjunior and Einstein Tax for bringing our Kindness Awards to life.

And a wonderful 52 Lives supporter called Ann Ross who first nominated Jaime for the Clarins award all those years ago, which gave us the funding to begin.

We’re so proud of what we’ve built together. Here’s to the next ten years of kindness. 💜

THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION.
But if it was… 😂😂😂

Krish Patel @krishpatelinspires is about to SKIP from Land’s End to John o’ Groats, covering the length of the country to raise money and awareness for the incredible @52.lives and @schoolofkindness_

Which is obviously quite impressive.

However… I sell Tropic, which is very important. 😂🌴

Every time Krish tells me another extraordinary fact about his #greatbritishskip I unintentionally counter it with something about Tropic. Really! 🤣

But seriously, what this man is taking on is absolutely phenomenal.
The physical challenge, the determination, the fundraising and, most importantly, the message behind it all: KINDNESS. ❤️

I’m SO proud to be supporting Krish on his journey and sponsoring him with Tropic sun protection ☀️🌴 because if you’re going to skip the entire length of Great Britain, I’m at least going to make sure you’re properly SPF’d while you do it!

Krish, you are completely inspirational and we are all behind you. ❤️

Now PLEASE go and support him, follow his journey and, if you can, DONATE! Every single pound helps. 🙏

Almost 300,000 children have taken part in our School of Kindness workshops and assemblies this year - that’s a new record!

A massive thank you to every teacher, every child, our wonderful patrons and ambassadors, our brilliant School of Kindness team, and our sponsor @nbb.recycledfurniture for making this possible.

I have no doubt that together we are changing the world 🌍✨

On a rainy Monday last month, we were having a giggle in the office and Erica said - why don’t we go and see Harry Styles? 2 hours later, the tickets were booked, 6 Mavens had said yes and we were on our way!

@harrystyles you were incredible, Maven’s thank you for saying YES and making this night happen, we had some obstacles thrown in getting there on the night - but true grit and support for each other got us there Maven style. Shania we’ll catch you next time, getting there 3 mins before Harry started to a warm up of “It’s coming home 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿” won’t be forgotten.

🦩🪩💋💚👯
Love you Mavens 😘

🥳 Friday feel good 🥳

This week has been pure escapism working outside, in paint on the walls of @tanyasmith_writes family home!

Tanya is an incredibly beautiful person inside and out - and this enormous commissioned mural (11 metres or so 😅) epitomises the JOY and vibrancy that fills her and her family’s lives!

Wildflowers are now forever in the back garden - with each family member (including Lochie 🐾) depicted in this fun and unique piece!

Thank you Tanya, Charlie and family for the sunniest week in your beautiful new home 💫🙌🏻💚
.
💫Happy weekend lovely friends 💫
