I want to spread the word about the fact that so many skincare brands and other household products use toxic ingredients. I want to spread the word about using non-toxic brands. Often they sit side by side on the shelf, and we just aren’t educated, as it’s well hidden. Thanks to brands like @yuka_app we can find out which products are safe, and thanks to brands like @tropicskincare we can make easy choices for beautiful products with all the right ingredients. Head to my link in bio for my Tropic page 🫶💕 by @tanyasmith_writes

I’m so honoured to be among the ‘highly commended’ poets in the @ninearchespress Primers Volume 8 submission.

Thank you to selecting editors @lauriebolger_ and @commajane for seeing something in my work - I’m over the moon that it spoke to you. Congratulations to all of the short listed poets and my fellow highly commended poets. It’s wonderful to be introduced to lots of lovely new creatives!

Today I lived out a dream for world book day week. I am an ex-primary school teacher of 14 years and I have written a few children’s books, some of them on publishers’ and agents’ desks hopefully getting seriously considered! This story was hot off the press and I was invited into my old incredible primary school to do a lesson around my book and read it. It was a dream to be in as an author, and the children couldn’t have been more enthusiastic! They laughed, they asked brilliant questions and the asked me to write the sequel!!

I am looking forward to finding a fabulous agent and publisher for a home for my stories - the search continues ⭐️

I’m so thankful that I was able to share this character who has been living in my top draw, with its rightful audience today!

My last writing moment was thinking about all things orange. I went down an 80’s and 90’s rabbit hole with this little poem 🧡

Any more you’d add?

Since my operation last year, I believe 100% in non-toxic products. I’ve teamed up with @tropicskincare and you can buy products that are actually good for your skin (as they all should be) direct from my link in bio, or in comments. 💚 let’s look after ourselves 🫶
