Nadim Nassar, In Absentia — What Remains When Everything Fades Away

Du 2 au 6 juillet 2026, Tara Rahmeh présente In Absentia, la première exposition solo du photographe libano-canadien Nadim Nassar, avec un vernissage le 2 juillet à partir de 18h, réunissant vingt et une photographies autour des thèmes de l'absence et de la mémoire.

Les 3 panneaux : Field – I / Drift – II / Trace – III
Ce sont une séquence de mouvements horizontaux, diagonaux et circulaires. Drift II donne le sentiment d’un mixte de la puissance d’un flot de lumière, avec l’incertitude du flou de l’image et du sol vert recevant ce flot. Le risque des œuvres à longue exposition est de rester dans une abstraction couverte par une démonstration technique, mais le ressenti devant cette photographie est étourdissant, et bien réel.

Twenty-one photographs made with long exposure and intentional camera movement. Work about light, atmosphere, and what stays after presence is gone. Not absence as emptiness, but as trace. As memory.
