A place of wonder.

In the latest episode of Design Unlocked, Darcy Hanna and Emma Sims of &Daughters reflect on the transformation of a distinctive Vancouver home, where the existing architecture became the starting point for a different way of living within it.

Rather than beginning again, the project looks closely at what was already there, reconsidering the relationship between spaces, strengthening connections to the landscape, and giving every member of the family a place within the design.

A home is not neutral.

The spaces we inhabit shape how we breathe, how we settle, and how we move through a day. Light, material, and atmosphere are not just visual, they are constantly being processed by the body.

In this episode of Design Unlocked, @commondwells introduces The Circadian Home—a concept that places human biological rhythm at the centre of design.

Good design is not only seen. It is felt.
