Known for their brunch, coffees and delicious Popovers’ — they’re branching out into the dinner space with a really neat concept. “Off-Menu” is a casual supper club that won’t break the bank, all while still offering unique and delicious menu items. Think paper plates, 6 courses, self-serve canned cocktails, wine, N.A. drinks — a pregame if you will to your night out on the town with your besties. our 12 hour adventure day was jam packed with scenic drives, many waterfalls, black sand beach, a hike and adventuring through a glacial ice cave. the food that day was delicious, but sadly i didn't take more photos. the sandwich from the black sand beach cafe, the European candies at the rest stop, cocoa and cookies at the troll headquarters, and dinner at our hotel were all so yummy. a great day for eats and exploring ✨✨✨ #travel #foodie #adventure #icleand #trip

had to leave the country to find the most beautiful coffee shop that i have ever come across. @plantankaffihus , located in Reykjavík, Iceland, was a magical spot. this Kaffihús had the most beautiful natural light and walking in took my breath away. the decor was whimsical and light, making for the most stunning cafe space. the staff was friendly and so sweet, customers were equally warm and welcoming, and the drinks and food were as tasty as they were aesthetically pleasing. we (@tarastimeoff and i) tried their cold brew, house latte and the amazing earl gray matcha. plantan is a vegan cafe, but they had many milk choices (oat, soy, almond) which was so appreciated since i am allergic to oat milk. we tried their brand new breakfast item---chia pudding which was beautiful and absolutely delicious. everything was just so fresh---something we don't always experience in the states. we also had their famous cheese buns and the (t)blt sandwich that was served on some next level sour dough bread. the only negative thing to report on this cafe is that it is a plane ride away and i have so many baked goods to still try from there. Iceland doesn't use yelp, so it wasn't easy to find coffee shops that are top rated. however, i am so glad that i put in a lot of time and research that led me to Plantan because it was the most memorable breakfast and cafe experience of the trip. if you ever find yourself in Reykjavík, this is a must ✨✨✨ #travel #cafe #coffee #iceland #foodie
