Preview day at The Gilroy. Perfect compliment to the Old Barnwell course. Just bought similarities and differences to make them both unique in their own ways. Can’t wait to see it again after it matures and it figures its identity out.

I wrapped up the 2025 golf season at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort on New Year’s Eve.
Dream start with a birdie on the opening hole and kept it together on the front… then Pete Dye (and Alice) reminded me who’s in charge on the back.
A world-class test that somehow gets better every single time you play it. Shout out to my guy NH for the invite!

The Ocean Course - Kiawah Island, SC

The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island was designed by Pete Dye and during the initial stages of shaping, Hurricane Hugo devastated the Charleston area. In the aftermath of the storm, many landscapes were changed which allowed the routing to be pushed directly along the Atlantic coastline.

The course has hosted the 1991 Ryder Cup, the 2012 PGA Championship, and the 2021 PGA Championship, and is scheduled to host the 2031 PGA Championship again!

I am anticipating playing The Ocean Course for the first time on February 1st! I’ve been to the clubhouse on a few occasions but have yet to tee it up. Comment all your recommendations for the course! Favorite holes? Best round? Post game meal at the Ryder Cup Bar? I want to hear it all!

What a weekend at Broomsedge! The course is maturing at such a rapid pace. An absolutely gorgeous beast. New yet timeless. It will continue to grow but never change. Golf the way it’s intended to be with people who love and respect the game.

Here’s to one year.
One year of hard work, and dedication. I never would’ve imagined making it this far.
I started this journey to better myself and I’ve done just that.
I couldn’t have done it without my amazing trainer though.
On to the next level my friend ❤️👏🏼 #EvolveFitness #OneYear #MyTrainerIsBetterThanYours
