The other king of the stage, Mr @tariqhakoni ! Almost 20 years since the first time I saw him on stage and met him outside the TV sets, always so nice with the fans! Stay the same kind person, it's so comforting and nice to see two great friends, musicians and persons performing together! You also made my year, so I hope to see all of you again soon ! 🤗
PS:.This was Paris concert last April

Another fantastic performance by Josh Groban last night! I’ve followed this man since his first album back in 2001! Good times, good laughs, and great music!

Some of the best moments of @joshgroban this week! 1st photo is the talented Jack Groban accompanying @joshgroban in Moon River. 2nd is a beautiful shot of @joshgroban I captured. 3rd is an amazing shot of the incredible @tariqhakoni playing the intro to Alejate. Lastly, all of the great goodies I received from the VIP experience! Can't wait to receive my individual and group photo with Josh. Bravo and beautiful second residency @joshgroban @tariqhakoni and the crew! 💎🎰💕

Behind-The-Songs: Paperback Hero

This song is about a young man leaving home, about to start his life’s journey. The image of him at a crossroad was the seed of the story, and the reference to the Paperback Hero is a nod to Gordon Lightfoot’s line in “If you could read my mind”. He acknowledges hardships and challenges ahead, but remains hopeful that his story will have a happy ending. I wanted this song to be performed in a young man’s voice. This was done brilliantly by Jackson Gillies.

Produced by Randy Tico (@randytico)
Recorded, Mixed, and Mastered by Emmet Sargeant (@emmetsargeant) at Beagle Studios
Recording engineered by Ryan Enockson (@hotintheserynos) at Bryan Adams’ Warehouse studio in Vancouver

This first picture was taken the day I met @joshgroban (and @tariqhakoni ) almost 25 years ago. People often ask me what it’s like working with Josh, having known him for so long. And I always answer - his talent is incredible, singular, and undeniable. But watching him navigate the seasons of life, a rocket-ship career, and all the stress and responsibility that comes with it while remaining a class act, a generous and kind soul, and a good friend to those lucky enough to be in his orbit - this is, to me, the most impressive thing about him. Grateful to still be sharing laughs and stages with you all these years later, bud. Congrats on a beautiful Stage, Screen & Symphony tour. ❤️

three weeks + thirteen cities later, the stage, screen, and symphony tour has come to an end. just an endless thank you to the inimitable @joshgroban for believing in me and giving me this magical opportunity and the experience of a lifetime— sharing the stage with you every night was an absolute dream. i couldn’t be more grateful for all of the genuine and caring people and mentors i was lucky enough to meet, grow together as a family, and make memories with over the last three weeks. all my love to everyone who helped make all of this happen, i feel like this tour came at the perfect time in my life and i know i have grown immensely as both a performer and human over the past three weeks. my heart is so happy and my cup is BEYOND full! xo! 🎤♥️💫🎭

This year I’ve been all over the world, hitting places I’ve never been and places I’ve long missed. I’ve grown a lot, learned a lot, and leaned into the idea that if I feel passionately about something, others might too. Every trek I’ve made has had a unique sonic stamp. It’s what made this year in particular so rewarding. This month, singing some of the most classic songs, reimagined in some of the greatest venues with full symphonies for 10’s of thousands of you has been a dream. In October, we’ll see you back again at the awesome @caesarspalace @colosseumatcp for another sonic adventure. Then after that, going off to record more surprises, grow more, and take you on more adventures you’re hopefully as excited to join me on for as I am to make them. Last 3 Stage, Screen, and Symphony shows in Grand Rapids Kansas City & Houston coming up. See you all out there ❤️🎶
