When it's time to look and feel my best for the missus, there's nothing like a hot towel/straight razor shave 🪒

Big thanks to Tony 'The Barber' at Wise Guys Barbershop (@wiseguysbarberparlor) for the steady hands and bumping tunes. #MrRoadweary #cleancloseshave by @tariqhakoni

**Nerd Alert** I have a lot of gear but all serves a different purpose. Some are more versatile and utilitarian, and some are more specialized. Some are for flying, some for touring, some for live and some are for TV and shows etc.

This board is the most personalized board I use. I just swapped out some pedals and this one represents my love of Americana and artists like Lowell George, Daniel Lanois, Buddy Miller, Ry Cooder and Clarence White. This one gets paired with my Lazy J20 and Blackface Princeton. One day soon I'll do a rundown of the whole rig from 'boot to bonnet'. taken in Roadweary Productions by @tariqhakoni

Throwing it back a little bit. This is at Centerstaging with one of my favorite people (David Delhomme) with the one and only Blackbyrd McKnight and George Clinton of P Funk!!!... it's hard to articulate not only the impact of the band but to hear Blackbyrd's molten guitar licks on Maggotbrain as a young African American guitarist spun my head around. It's moments like these that I have to pinch myself and am more than grateful for this life I've chosen. 'Make my funk the P Funk'!!! taken in CenterStaging by @tariqhakoni

Man at work: I love working with Josh Groban. We are coming up on 25 years together and it remains incredibly fulfilling and challenging in all the best ways. I get to play in small and large ensembles, from world class rhythm sections to world renowned orchestras. We've played for royalty (including Oprah) to Kids charities and traveled around the world from Iceland and Russia to a Palm Springs. Thank you Josh for inviting me on this adventure with you. And thank you to all the musicians and fans that continue to make this journey fun and amazing. taken in The Woodlands, Texas by @tariqhakoni

Man at work. I'm soooo bad at remembering to commemorate moments but I snapped this selfie for Lisa and thought I'd share.

I'm so fortunate to work with the best musicians in the planet and today I get to work with the Houston Symphony under the baton of my brother Sean O'Loughlin. taken in The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion by @tariqhakoni

I'm a little late to posting this, but what an incredible honor to be involved in this performance. The arrangement was done by the amazing Michael Bearden and drums were handled by my good buddy (and badass) Donald Barrett. I grew up loving soccer and being able to participate in the national anthem for the World Cup AND for an incredible artist like Idina was a real honor. Idina and Michael KILLED this. And my buddy Steve Genewiec (as always) crushed the engineering and mix. #MrRoadweary taken in Roadweary Productions by @tariqhakoni

Thank you Chicago for SHOWING OUT!!... had an amazing show and a truly incredible day off. Did some record shopping and made my way to Chicago Music Exchange .. one of the BADDEST music stores on the planet. Then ended with an incredible meal at Avec. Chicago remains one of my favorite cities on the planet. Okay... now onwards and upwards. by @tariqhakoni

It is very rare to catch me in a picture not smiling. But this is what it looks like to get between me and my coffee at the start of a long day of Recording… Also included is the obligatory "my Office today" shot... have I mentioned that I absolutely love my job?… This was an incredibly fun day with some of my favorite people at a legendary studio. It's a bit of a super secret project, but I'll let you know when I can let the cat out of the bag. by @tariqhakoni
