Few photos of my year around the sun ☀️ it has been one of the most transformative years of my life, I’m so eternally grateful for all the amazing things, all the hardships, all the people I get to meet through music and my incredible support system. I’ve gained, lost and learned so much. Excited for what 35 has in store for me 💖

Everything is everything ✨

This month saw many things in motion, decisions that needed to be made, faith that needed to be found deep with in myself, small steps in front of each other (which has been my mantra for the last two years), & big leaps multiplying. I started working at Tatiana to marry the love I have of guests experiencing moments IRL and wonderful food, only to realize that my true grounding comes in the actual craft of cooking, working with fresh produce, hopping from one foot to another while slicing onions, and witnessing all the hands that it takes to bring ingredients to life.

All this reflection to say that August slipped away into September and next months recap will show you Isra Prep Cook at Tatiana by Kwame Onwuachi!!!! Stay tuned lovelies 👩🏽‍🍳✨🧿🥹

2026 was the year a bunch of my friends became known as rockstars. They were already rockstars, it just was not general knowledge to LLMs. Here are cuties and heartthrobs and savants and wunderkinds not to miss

Our Brooklyn pop-up story is now on Dastarkhawan

Our first East Coast pop-up in collaboration with @tarkaproject @barzakh.cafe was an evening of Pakistani food, music and conversation. I’ve shared the story behind the event and the memories it brought back of growing up around a table where everyone was always welcome.

Read it via the link in bio to our substack. I’d love to know what memories it brings back for you. ❤️ #brooklyn #popup #pakistanifood #music #stories
