🥩WHAT A FUN EVENT!

Yesterday, Kara hosted her on campus advocacy event! The event had about 60 attendees who all had the opportunity to see the breakdown of a beef carcass, quality and yield grade a carcass, grill their own steaks, and then enjoy fellowship over a steak dinner! This event was a great success and could not have been possible without the great help of the Tarleton State Meat Lab and Meat Judging Team, Texas Beef Council, American National Cattlewomen, and Casey Matzke. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to learn and help put on such a great event! #eatbeef #grill #breakdownbeef

One of the most memorable years of my life!! I’m so thankful for these people and meat judging! It has taught me so many lessons. All the miles traveled, reasons written, empty pens, long hours in the plant, and all the memories- I wouldn’t have it any other way!!🫶🏻🫶🏻

From a delicious nacho bar to our student organizations connecting and welcoming others, the event was full of great food, meaningful conversations, and a warm welcome for our newest Texans. 🏈⚡💜
