In order to actually get fast we need to expose our bodies to speed constantly but in a safe manner, with everything else being designed to support that adaptation.

With just 4-6 weeks of touching your top speed twice a week the body learns and recruits faster movement more efficiently.

At 12 weeks is when the body locks in tops speed as an actual skill— with movements and speed becoming automatic!

If we had 12 weeks, of top speed exposure, explosive lifting, elasticity development, real acceleration development, power lifting, and isometric and recovery movements— the body learns to lock in sprinting as a skill!

This is the same way pro and college sprinters train!

i put together a 12 week sprint program with everything needed to get you fast this summer (did a lot of research)

comment: “summer” and i’ll send it to you and for less than your doordash order you can join me in unlocking our limitless potential!

follow and let’s be limitless💫

our bodies adapt to whatever we expose it to. if you’re constantly exposed to high speeds your nervous system will learn to adapt.

it takes 4-6 weeks for initial motor unit recruitment (brain to body connection)

and at 12 weeks your CNS locks in this permanent motor program, making “sprinting fast” a skill.

but you have to do this smart! and intentionally!

i designed a 12 week sprint development program after spending months following a boring base building and tapering approach to training.

I was strong and conditioned— i just didn’t spend enough time exposed to my top speed to actually coordinate my movements and express speed.

this program approaches max velocity exposure along with supplemental workouts that work to assist nervous system adaptation so as not to fatigue your CNS (i’m very proud of it)

this is the same program i’ll be following this summer and my athletes are following as well!

comment: “summer” and i’ll send it over to you (it’s less than your doordash order, lol)

to actually see improvements in sprint speed one thing we can do is expose ourselves to high velocities often

this forces our brains to send signals to our muscles on when to and not to fire— CNS coordination.

we need to do this often enough until our brain learns it doesn’t need to be active in the process— the firing becomes AUTOMATIC!

the best athletes in the world have learned to fire on and off almost subconsciously!

it’s speed— as a permanent skill!

that’s why i designed a 12-week summer program designed to expose you at your top speed safely and often enough with additional supplies mental workouts designed to reinforce speed development (plyos, mechanics, tempo, isos, structural alignment, med balls, etc).

don’t worry i’m using this same program myself and for my athletes this summer— i’m tired of being big and strong for no reason lol— it’s time to be FAST!

comment: “summer” and i’ll send you the program (it’s less than your doordash order so be big or be fast this summer)

follow and be ʟɪᴍɪᴛʟᴇꜱꜱ💫 this summer!

Most sprinters train for sprinting… without actually sprinting.

This summer we’re training:

⚡ Acceleration
⚡ Top Speed
⚡ Speed Endurance
⚡ Sprint Mechanics
⚡️ Elasticity
⚡ Recovery

NOT RANDOM RUNNING

Because speed is a skill.

Comment: “SUMMER” and I’ll send you the link.

Things I Wish I Knew At 14 — Part 4: Acceleration

Most athletes aren’t slow.

They’re impatient.

Acceleration isn’t about sprinting immediately.

It’s about building momentum.

Comment: “START” and I’ll send you my Acceleration Library, Drill Guide, and 10-Week Acceleration Program from the Limitless Vault.

Most high school sprinters spend all summer getting tired…

instead of getting faster.

So this summer we’re doing things differently.

SPEED ALL SUMMER

✅ Acceleration
✅ Top Speed
✅ Speed Endurance
✅ Plyometrics
✅ Recovery
✅ Sprint Mechanics
✅ Mobility
✅ Elasticity

NOT RANDOM SUFFERING!

Because sprinting fast is a skill.

And skills require practice.

Comment SUMMER and I’ll send you the program link.

For less than a DoorDash order, you’ll get full summer programming plus access to the Limitless Vault and Discord.

Follow @lmtless_university and let’s be limitless this summer!

See you next class! Don’t be late!

Things I Wish I Knew At 14 — Part 3: Relaxation

The harder you try to sprint…

the slower you usually become.

Speed is rhythm.

Tension steals rhythm.
