This week’s song for #FridaysAtUniversal takes me right back to the very early 90s and my first band, Orion. This was one of those songs we absolutely loved playing. It reminds me of being young, rehearsing endlessly, discovering music together, and simply enjoying every minute of it.

Here’s the funny part. Back then, we had no idea it was originally a Harry Chapin song. We discovered it through @uglykidjoeofficial Joe, then much later found Harry Chapin’s original, and eventually Cat Stevens’ beautiful interpretation. Considering how much I love catalog music today, it feels like a wonderfully innocent mistake that somehow led us to appreciate the song even more.

So this week we thought we’d give it another whirl. Some songs never really leave you. They simply find their way back at the right time.

If you enjoy it, give it some love, sing along, and make sure you listen on 🎧 . Have a great weekend y’all

Released in 1994 on Pink Floyd’s #TheDivisionBell, this is one of those songs @ferzad and I fell in love with on first listen and have probably heard five billion times since.

It’s beautiful, haunting, deep and honestly pretty much impossible to cover. So we didn’t even try. We just said, let’s do it our way. One guitar, ( ok two 🤣😇) one piano line, two people who absolutely love this song.

There are some songs that just stay with you through life. This is definitely one of ours.

If you know High Hopes, feel it along with us. And if you like our little version, share it with someone who loves this incredible song too.

Happy Friday y’all…. Also it’s an 8 mins song so imposible to do it in 3 maybe we do a part 2 next week if you guys say so

It’s been a while since @tarqeeb played in Delhi, and we’re amped up to host him tonight at Auro for the Redline DJs Delhi debut.

Tarqeeb is the moniker of Ashish Jose. A seeker of hedonism through rhythm and philanthropy through music-making, he formed the moniker in the summer of 2012. The idea was always simple: promoting quality dance music, minus the little labels and the big boxes.

The only constants remain deep, groovy basslines, dark atmospheres and a trajectory that ultimately crescendos into high-energy dance music.
