🇧🇷 Today, October 15, Brazil celebrates Master’s Day! And since our Master Libo is Brazilian, we want to give him the recognition he truly deserves!

❤️ Congratulations, Master Libo, for generously teaching us, with so much love and dedication, this philosophy of life we call Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

🇧🇷 As Cora Coralina, a Brazilian poet, once said:

“Happy is the one who shares what they know and learns from what they teach.”

🙏🏻❤️ Happy Master’s Day, Master Libo!

🥋 Do you know what really stands behind the name Martial Arts Nation?

🔥 Martial Arts Nation is the team founded by our Master Ricardo Libório, built on the knowledge, experience, and vision he has developed over decades dedicated to martial arts as an athlete, professor, coach, and mentor to generations.

👊 Today, all of that knowledge has evolved into a structure that brings together a team, teaching, and philosophy, passing on not only technique, but also everything that decades on and off the mats have taught about martial arts, developing people, and training instructors.

🥋 And every MA Nation carries the strength of that knowledge because its roots are strong!

🔥 It is this foundation that unites Martial Arts Nation as a team and allows it to grow through its licensed academies, carrying forward an identity built over decades and our Master Ricardo Libório’s vision for the present and future of martial arts.

WHAT SHOULD A COACH DO WHEN THEIR STUDENT LOSES THEIR FIRST MATCH?

At the PBJJF Orlando Fall Open, one of Professor Tarsis de Paula’s students, from Elementum Jiu-Jitsu, lost in the very first match.

And it was what happened after the loss that really caught our attention.

Instead of criticism or a lecture, Tarsis stepped in to do one of the most important things a coach can do: provide emotional support.

According to him, the moments after the match are not the time to point out mistakes. It is the time to support the child, motivate them, and show them that one loss is not a reason to quit jiu-jitsu.

The medal did not come this time, but that child left the mat knowing that their coach was still right there by their side.

And that should be normal.

In kids’ jiu-jitsu, building a champion also means teaching children how to deal with frustration without losing their love for the process.

Master Worlds 2026 🥋
What an incredible experience in Vegas. I’m so blessed to be able to do what I love every day, surrounded by my people and the ones who continue to support me. God continues to bless me beyond what I deserve.

Finished 3-1 with two submissions and only gave up 2 points the entire tournament. I’m incredibly proud of the sacrifices I made and the work I put in to prepare for this camp.

I know there’s still more work to be done, and I’m more motivated than ever to continue mastering my craft and becoming the best version of myself.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped me prepare for this. The time, energy, support, and sacrifices from so many people made this possible. I truly couldn’t have done it without you.

Back to work. 🙏🏽

🇺🇸 There are people who are born with the word “father” tattooed on their hearts, as if destiny itself had written it there.

That is the case of our beloved Master Libo. Even before becoming the father of his three daughters, he was already a father to a multitude of students, and to all those who needed to find, in his embrace, the comfort of a father, which he has always offered with an open heart and without reservation.

❤️ So, there could be nothing more fitting or beautiful than, through our Master, stitched together by the threads of love, to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers in our Martial Arts Nation family, alongside some of his many children who were not born from his body, but from his immense heart.

🥋 Happy Father’s Day to our dear Master Libo and to all the beloved dads in our Martial Arts Nation family!!! ❤️
