A bittersweet weekend on our 6th annual Sunriver trip. Really missed our baby girl, but we saw her in the dragonflies each day. She loved playing in the shallows of this pool, and it was hard to see all the other little kids running around. But we made the best of it and are giving Kori every experience we can. We postponed this trip for weather, and Ember provided the most beautiful weekend. The trees are changing, but we are soaking up every last bit of summer. #remEmber #Embersglow

We went to visit Ember’s memorial site at Suttle lake today. We did some maintenance on it and organized all her toy offerings. Here is a quick video of the area for those of you that haven’t or can’t get to this beautiful area. With school starting up again tomorrow, emotions are all over the place. But we know she will be with Kori and all her friends and teachers in spirit. Love you baby girl. ❤️‍🔥🍓 #remEmber #Embersglow

We feel the best when we are out and about living life like Ember would want us to. Quick Seattle trip was a success for us. Even got to check the wild orca spotting off the bucket list! 🫍

Trying to live life at full speed, or as we like to call it, going full Ember!

We were given the opportunity to stay a few nights on the Oregon coast this week. A chance to breathe in the ocean air and reflect on what has happened. We saw Ember in so many different ways, which made us feel better. Whether it was an eagle or a seal, we knew it was her saying hi. We did some crabbing, kite flying, and walked around. We were hoping for some quiet, but that quiet was deafening. We miss her, but we know she’s in a better place. #embersglow

Sat and talked to my baby girl tonight. I told her how much I miss her, and that daddy loves her forever. I asked her to show me something in the water, to give me a sign. I feel her near the water most. Before I knew it, I saw a male and female seal right in front of me. I was watching them in my binos right off shore. The male went beneath the surface, and the female stayed up, her whole face filling my lense. She stared right at me for what felt like forever. It was a very cool moment. A few minutes later, a bald eagle flew right over me cool and clam. I am seeing her everywhere and I know I’m not alone. I love you Ember ❤️‍🔥
