🥹🏒💖 THEY SAY WHEN YOU FIND YOUR TRIBE, YOU’LL NEVER BE ALONE… AND I THINK I FINALLY FOUND MINE. 💖🏒🥹 The BEST early birthday celebration with hockey, burgers, so much love and the most amazing people I could ever ask for. 😭🫶🏽✨ I genuinely don’t even know how to put into words how much today meant to me. You guys showed up for me, made me feel so loved and gave me memories I’ll keep in my heart forever. 🥹💗 And yes, I cried. Obviously. 😂😭 BUT IN MY DEFENCE, I’M ON MY PERIOD, MY EMOTIONS ARE EVERYWHERE, AND YOU ALL DECIDED TO BE ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE AT THE WORST POSSIBLE TIME. HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO SURVIVE THAT?!? 😭😂💐 Thank you for every little thing, every gift, every hug, every laugh and all the effort you put into making me feel special. I appreciate it more than you’ll ever know, and I’m going to treasure these gifts forever. 🥹🎁💖 I’ve spent so much of my life feeling like I had to navigate things on my own, so having people who make me feel included, loved and genuinely happy is something I will NEVER take for granted. 🫶🏽💕 You guys are my people. My tribe. My little corner of happiness. 🥹🌷✨ And if turning 31 means having more days like this, more memories with you and more reasons to cry happy tears… then BRING IT ON. 😭💖😂 I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH. Launch Event for A Bigger Life by @oneilllou 🎈 Yesterday I headed to @dreameryldn with @hqstories to celebrate the launch of Louise’s memoir, A Bigger Life! Such a fun afternoon catching up with book besties @tash.is.reading and @libcreads, plus meeting so many lovely new book friends along the way. We kicked things off with a glass of wine while everyone arrived, then heard Louise talk about how the memoir came to life — complete with an exclusive extract reading and signing. 📖✍️ Next up: ice cream from the Dreamery. I went for caramelised white chocolate with puff crispies and marshmallows — divine, and exactly what I needed! 🍨 To finish, we tried our hand at embroidery with @uksewsisters, DIY-ing our own tote bags. My concentration face was something else 😂 but I loved it — genuinely think this might be a new hobby! Overall such a beautiful and fun event!! Please excuse the voice over, I really did raw dog it 🫣 A huge thank you to the lovely peeps at HQ Stories for inviting me along to celebrate A Bigger Life by Louise O’Neill, out 24th September. There was ice cream. There were cocktails. There was an embroidery lesson with the lovely Chesca from SewSisters (turns out I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing with a needle and thread). And, most importantly, there were the loveliest people. Everyone was so open and kind and I came away feeling like I’d somehow spent the afternoon with a group of friends I’d only just met. And Louise… honestly. Incredible. If she’s ever auditioning for best friends, I’d like to formally shoot my shot. 😂 I absolutely loved A Bigger Life. It’s got so much heart, humour, honesty and warmth. Sex and the City and Eat Pray Love can eat their hearts out because this book deserves a mini-series. Or a film. Preferably both. It was such a dreamy afternoon, genuinely just the tonic I needed. 🌊📚🍹 Tempest Launch Party [AD - PR Invite] Still thinking about Friday night! I had the best time with @readtempest as they re-launched the imprint under a new name. We got some insights into upcoming releases, lots of food, drinks and activities and a wonderful goody bag! We were also surprised by a cover reveal for a new debut book, Bound by Fate by @cairoaibangbee who joined us for the event and then stuck around to sign her proofs. There were two beautiful versions - Ares and Ọṣun (pictured in slide 4 - only the red version is mine, the other is for a friend who couldn't make it to the event). Overall, it was a wonderful evening among friends! An absolute pleasure meeting the lovely Jojo @shelflife_bookreview and chatting with Teo @euphonioustimes Lovely meeting @_cupofvibes @tash.is.reading @bookswithbethhh again & @bookish.sil in person for the first time. Thank you Sil for filming the book signing for me. 🫶 Stars And Swipes is your perfect summer romcom, full of laughs, heart, flirting and plenty of dating chaos to follow. This time, the girls are catching a flight to New York to work on an exciting collaboration! Despite unforeseen train cancellations, perpetual delays, topped with my panic triggered asthma, I made it to the venue. And so grateful for these beautiful opportunities. 💙❤️‘𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒘𝒊𝒑𝒆𝒔 𝑰𝒄𝒆 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝑳𝒂𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒉 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒚‘ What an incredible time I had in London at @maincharacterbooks yesterday. @zaffrebooks organised a very unique and fun celebration for the upcoming release of ‘Stars and Swipes’ by the amazing @sophie.gravia_author It was so much fun and it was just incredible to chat about her book. I also met, in person, some of the most amazing content creators and this was the highlight of the event because @zaffrebooks not only arranged an amazing event but brought together an amazing community of bookworms. I am still gobsmacked that I met @bookish.sil @nancy.bookstagram @tash.is.reading @ellashausofcolour @bookaholicontheloose @nishablogsbooks @euphonioustimes and I was able to see the lovely @melissak3011 again which is always so nice. This is what I love about bookstagram, the incredible community that gets together to celebrate books 🩷🩷 and talk about them non stop. Thank you so much @zaffrebooks for the opportunity to attend.

Stars and Swipes by @sophie.gravia_author ✨🇺🇸 Last night I was kindly invited by the team at @zaffrebooks to celebrate the pre publication event of Sophie’s new exciting book, Stars and Swipes at @maincharacterbooks 👀 It was such a beautiful evening watching Sophie in conversation about her book, and the inspiration behind it! And god there were some hilarious moments for sure!! We were all in stiches!! 🤣🤣 I spent the evening with my lovely friends @tash.is.reading and @bookaholicontheloose as well as finally meeting @bookish.sil , who is such a beautiful soul, and also a very good “influencer”! Basically she persuaded me to buy the @osmo_global Pocket 👀 🤣 and we all made a new friend @bookswithbethhh 💕💕💕 You will have seen or remember The Dicktionary Club, which was a huge hit, and loved all around! This is now the next part in the story, holding the future of the app- you’ll have to buy the book to find out though! 🤣 Thank you @nishablogsbooks and the team at @zaffrebooks for the invite!!
