I was lucky enough to be invited to a sip and sew class with @hutchheinemann where @sip_and_sew taught me some techniques I definitely would have struggled with on my own 😅 Pictured is my finished sewing from the event! Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
Bad Words really commits to the enemies part of enemies to lovers, and I loved watching Parker and Selina attempt to find common ground after their argument becomes everyone else’s entertainment. Their emails were some of my favourite moments, with every little shift from arguing to actually enjoying each other’s company making me more invested. I also just have to say I RIDE FOR SELINA, SHE IS MY QUEEN, and I loved how her character refused to make herself more agreeable just to be liked. Between the painfully slow burn and the publishing drama, there’s also plenty here about honest reviews and online book spaces that made this particularly fun to read as someone on bookstagram.

BAD WORDS & BOUQUETS 💐

Had the loveliest evening celebrating Bad Words by @rioghnachrobinson with Harper Fiction🌷

We spent the evening learning how to condition, spiral and arrange our own bouquets, which was honestly so fun and relaxing, before sitting down for a Q&A with Rioghnach all about the book and her writing process.

I’ve already read Bad Words and absolutely loved it, so it was so lovely getting to hear more about the story from the author herself. My full review will be coming very soon but I would do anything for Selina Chan! 👀📚

Review: A Bloody Scandal made me angry, frustrated and, sadly, feel incredibly seen. As someone with both endometriosis and adenomyosis, currently waiting for my second laparoscopic surgery to remove endometriomas and an endometrial polyp, I found myself relating to so much of what Evelyn Scott writes about, especially how often women’s pain is dismissed or simply not taken seriously.

Despite already knowing a lot about endometriosis and adenomyosis through my own experiences, I still came away from this feeling educated, particularly about other gynaecological conditions and just how many people are being failed when it comes to their health. I’m so glad this book has been published and is helping to spread awareness, start conversations and shine a light on conditions that have been dismissed and overlooked for far too long.

🍓 Blended my own personalised tea
🍵 Tried the Moomin-inspired drinks and sweet treats
🤍 Celebrated one of my favourite childhood worlds

It was such a nostalgic afternoon, and I’m still so proud of my biscuit! Safe to say the Moomin Berry Basket matcha has also become a daily favourite. 🥹

I’m still so proud of the Moomin biscuit I iced myself at @biscuiteersltd 🥹

And @birdandblendtea Moomin Berry Basket matcha is currently my FAVOURITE drink. I genuinely have to have it every day – it’s so good both hot and iced! 🍓🍵
